If you're looking for an unsweetened Matcha powder, this is a great option.
I feel a lot better after taking it. Good mood, good focus and energy. I would recommend it. It's not that expensive to try out. See if it works for you.
Great taste. I use this to make my own matcha green tea iced lattes. Tastes just like what you buy in a coffee shop.
The Matcha Powder was good. But the price is too high. Found the same product online at half the price.
good product. I just use less that recommended amount since its strong stuff
I absolutely am in love with Matcha Powder, however I think it’s pricey for the amount of product received. The matcha only lasts me about two weeks at most. It’s a good product but expensive.
I really like the smooth mildly nutty flavor. It's great for making green tea lattes. I use almond milk and sometimes heavy cream. Yummy
This Matcha powder is bitter & fishy smelling/tasting. When I read about the differences in Matcha harvesting, this must be from the lesser prized part of the plant. But we all know that we get what we pay for, so as I am unwilling to pay the extreme high prices for select, premium Matcha, reserved for ceremonial or such uses, I will accept that this is Matcha, nonetheless. I don't know how it got this fishy smell (hopefully it is innocuous/safe).
Matcha is made from Japanese green tea leaves, but the bottom government required black print states "PRODUCT OF CHINA." Sunfood's product is misleading and dishonest. I'm not sure if this really qualifies as matcha since the color is NOT a bright green, it's more dull pastel green, and it certainly IS NOT made from Japanese tea leaves. It also does not dissolve fully in boiling water, still larger more visible bits (fine matcha powder does not do this). The aroma is not as strong as real matcha and flavor a little bitter. Although matcha is made from green tea leaves, not all green tea leaves qualify as matcha grade.
Its safe to say this is a low quality matcha...if its matcha at all. It tastes like dirt and the color is very dull. The powder should be kind of a vibrant green and it should keep that color when mixed. Matcha should become very frothy when mixed and this does not. Did I mention it tastes terrible? Luckily, I have a friend in Japan who sent me actual matcha tea...WHOA, what a difference! On this package it says its a product of China? Anyways, Please take my advice and donât waste your money like i did.
