Love Steel ies! Soak them overnight in cold water in a pot on the stove. Turn on heat in the morning and they cook up in 1/2 the time.

I've purchased this brand of steel cut oats twice now and can say the quality is very good and would recommend.

These are better cut than most steel cut I have had and they are great tasting.

This is the first time I have purchased non-irradiated oats. I have purchased, Food to Live, Oatmeal Organic. This Food to Live product has larger oats that HAVE BEEN irradiated. You don't have to soak these oats and they cook in minutes. They taste great. So I purchased the Food to Live, Organic Steel Cut Oats this time and YOU HAVE TO SOAK them if you want them to cook faster. To me, this is the only downside of having to soak them. BUT they are NOT IRRADIATED. So no radiation has been used to destroy all the NUTRIENTS of the oats. This is a much HEALTHIER food to eat. I will try to get used to soaking my oats now.

I purchased 25 pounds of the organic steel cut oatmeal but only got half(a bag of 12.5 pounds) delivered to me, Not sure what'd happened to the system!. I have reflected this three times to Walmat but have not got any reply for this problem! Please pay attention to customer response!

Product arrived at a fed ex damaged. After many days of no further activity, contacted both food2live and walmart multiple times resulting in slow responses doing nothing blaming each other. All i wanted was the product i paid for. Seven weeks later product arrived damaged, with a box full of loose, stale, moldy looking oats, and a ripped product bag. Really wanted to find an alternative to my regular irish brand in a metal can, but horrible customer service, and third party unaccountability left me with a soured first impression.
