Organic Valley 2% milk is one of those staples that quietly does everything right. It tastes clean and fresh, not watered down, not overly rich. Just solid, old school milk the way it's supposed to taste. The 2% hits the sweet spot. Creamy enough for coffee, cereal, and cooking, but still light enough that you don't feel weighed down. I also appreciate knowing where it comes from. Organic Valley is transparent about their farming practices, and it shows in the quality. No weird aftertaste, no inconsistencies from carton to carton. It pours well, foams nicely, and holds up in recipes. It costs a bit more than store brand, but you get what you pay for. Reliable, ethical, and consistently good. This is the kind of milk you buy once and then stop overthinking forever.
No one knows what the milking cows are eating, or their treatment. Cows should be drinking grass NOT Grain and they should be in pastures, and free. I hate what BIG TECH have done to our Milking Cows for the almighty dollar. I Love knowing the Organic Valley Organic 2% Reduced Fat Milk, Gallon, 128 fl oz People Should Care where their Milk Comes from. Every time I see Cows in those Big 18 wheeler trucks, It makes me mad. No wonder Families have so many health issues. SUPPORT FAMILY FARMS!!! This Milk is THE BEST!!!! https://www.organicvalley.coop/blog/all-about-sleeping-cows/
You can likely buy three gallons of other brands of milk for the price of one gallon of this milk. That is not insignificant. But this is the most refreshing, best tasting milk I have ever had. So far. And I don't then mind paying more for the higher quality milk. On a hot humid day I can easily drink a gallon of milk. So I have to show some self restraint. That gets expensive fast.
I drink a ton of milk and have for years. I moved to 2% Organic when there was really still few choices. Now that there are, I've found this brand is the best, for taste, ingredients and shelf life. It doesn't hurt that it also consistently comes in about $2 cheaper then other brands.
It's the only milk I will buy. It has a creams to it and it also lasts longer in the refrigerator than any other milk I bought it doesn't go sour fast is what I'm trying to say it is worth the price. It's expensive but it's worth it.
The expiration date is sooner than any other brand of organic milk. Not worth the money. I buy organic because it gives me a couple months to finish it. This date is May 25th. This milk will end up down the drain.
Organic Valley should be ashamed for charging almost $10 for a gallon of milk!! The milk is good but NOT that good! Price gouging. I'll buy a cheaper brand from now on.
My milk came yesterday and it was open and it never was replaced like you said it was gonna replace it. I have children with autism. I myself is 67 years old and I have arthritis in my arm. Couldn't not get out to replace it. That's why I ordered for Walmart to deliver my groceries on a biweekly basis.
did delivery on feb 19th but milk expired on Jan 21!! i cant use that, walmart needs to check expiration dates better!!! would like my money back on this one!! over 9 dollars a gallon and a month almost expired
When I was going to use the milk today I noticed the best use by date was it March 1st and it was delivered on March 20th it should have already been pulled off the shelf
