If you have never cooked dried peas as these, you are missing out on a great taste treat. They are much better than canned peas and are easy to cook. I made pea soup from some of my shipment with my wife expressing her amazement at the great taste. The Wal-mart pricing and shipping was great.

Perfect! I’ve tried them in salads, hummus, and my favorite: cooked them with sauted onions and cracked egg on top. Delicious!!

Let's be clear - these are dried raw peas, like dried beans. These are NOT dried peas that can be eaten from the bag, not even close. Further, there are no instructions on how to soak and prepare these peas.

Doesn't say that this peas is meant for sprouting and not cooking. I am used to dried green peas to cook within an hour to totally fall apart in a soup, this one has been cooking for 2 hours now and it's as hard as it was when I started. I don't sprout so for me it's 20 dollars down the drain. It should have been described "for sprouting, not sproutable", means a different thing
