Organic Whole Psyllium Husks, 0.25 Pounds -Non-GMO, Kosher, Raw, Vegan - by Food to Live

This is the best fiber product I have found. Metamucil and others so often have substances like artificial sweetener which are not necessary or healthy. This plain product is such a welcome addition. I use it along with red yeast rice to decrease cholesterol but my elderly parents love it for its basic, clean fiber. Just be sure to drink plenty of water with it. It can be hard to get used to and the plain/wheat "taste" may not be enough for some. I love it and just use it with water every morning. It is nice to be able to order it in bulk and know that I am using a healthy supplement. I do transfer some of it into another container (an empty quart yogurt container) for easier use.

Being health conscious, I have eliminated most sugar(s) from my food fair. I found out that Psyllium Husks are the main ingredients in an over-the-counter favorite, Metamucil. Back in the day, there were no sugars, in Metamucil. I read labels, today the Psyllium Husks in Metamucil contain glycemic raising levels of so many sugars. I really like Food to Live, their label and product does not contain sugar, which ravages my health.

How do used other psyllium husks and the result was dark brown tortillas and everything else I cooked sometimes even purple. This is the result of dietary supplement Psyllium husk. But with this psyllium husk the resulting tortillas are golden brown. Much more appetizing to eat.

I appreciate that this came in this size but now I can't find it!! It's sold out and it's March!!

The best for regular morning poops. I did have a small concern for the California lead warnings on all psyllium products but.. that's California for you

It is organic, 100% Psyllium Husk, nothing added to it. I like it.

Glad to find bulk organic psyllium.

There is a little bit of sand.
