I have been wanting a countertop ice maker for years now, and I have always had my eye on the GE Opal, but the price point was just too high for the convenience of the machine. Have had the product for 1 week now. My husband and I are very happy with this ice maker. Makes small, crunchy, yet soft nugget ice in just minutes. It does not melt quickly. Container fills in a few short hours. I would recommend this item. Well worth the $$$.

I was originally looking for an Opal nugget ice maker, but honestly I want to say this is better. Better price, better looking. It is a bit bulky, but it matches my home aesthetic, it’s cute and comes in a lot of colors, I got the green one. Everyone loves it when they come over. The only comment I have is it’s hard to understand the directions at some points. You have to remove a a tube from the nozzle to connect to the water line and it took me 10 minutes to make sure it was the right one.

So for starters, I read a lot of the reviews for this guy before I pulled the trigger. I did have an oily substance on the outside by the compressor, but once I got that cleaned off, it was good to go. I've only had it plugged in for an hour and it's filled up a good portion of the ice container. It's sleek and it fits under the cabinets perfectly. I live in an apartment and counter space is sacred, but this guy doesn't take up too much room. Hopefully he will last a while, because I'm already in love ❤️

Couldn't find any videos about this product but thought I'd give it a try. It's esthetically pleasing, makes soft and crunchy nugget ice, and does not freeze together in a block like other competitors. Best deal, it was on sale for half the price! Run, don't walk. Grab yourself one now.

Quick shipping, exactly as pictured. I love the removable reservoir. One fill up in the morning provides enough nice for my day. The machine is quiet, quick, and efficient. My only down side is that the plastic ice drawer does leak when opening and closing but the provided drip tray is a great addition. I have enjoyed this product for 3 days now and it has already given me so much joy. It does take up quite a lot of space on the counter but that doesn't bother me as the convenience of sonic ice at home outweighs the need for counter space in my kitchen.

This item is amazing, it is much much quieter than the Ge Opal 2.0 and creates better ice than the Frigidaire Gallery machine and had a full bucket of ice in about 2 hours. It fits perfectly under counter to about half way so make sure you have the counter space. I took a while to land on a nugget ice maker without returning and this was the one. I am very happy with it even if it does continuously run it just means more ice. Love it and been eating nugget ice since I got it. See my pictures with flash and without.

I love this ice maker! It is so easy to use and it uses what has melted to make more ice. It keeps itself full for me! I love it and it's pretty! It does come out a bit further from my cabinets, so I'll probably find a better place for it in my kitchen, but it is a keeper!

Just opened the box half hour ago so can't give complete review just yet so giving it a 4 cause it is working and was easy to set up. One side of unit had some sticky oily substance all over it. Weird cause it was sealed in box and nothing sticky inside the box and looked to have never been opened. Hoping that doesn't affect it. Currently on first cycle and ice looks good! Bought extra warranty just in case.

Love the ice maker. How it functions, the quickness and amour of ice it makes. One major issue that ruins the whole thing is it leaks out of the bottom of the door. We have to keep changing a towel under it to keep it from ruining our countertop. Condensation builds up and has no where to go but out the bottom in a small space where the drawer meets the front of machine. My husband is a contractor and is going to try and put a small bead of silicone alone the bottom to try and stop it because, honestly I don't want to go through the hassle of packing it (I threw away the box) and we don't want to be without it! Other than that it would be perfect especially for the price.
