I haven't received the amp yet but I know what it is I grew up with Orion but the seller is awesome he made sure I had good wiring and enough power for the amp I will be dealing with this seller again
Very powerful, 2500.1 d and 2500.1dz are the same exact thing. Look at the box duhh 2500rms not max. Neither one of them have a Max of 5000 it is 10000 duhh. You will be glad you baught this amp. I just bought my 3rd
The xtr 2500.1dz is actually more powerful than the earlier model xtr 2500.1d ( no “z” in the earlier model name). The newer models do have less writing on the xtr 2500.1dz amplifier. Maybe to save more money, however Orion did put extra money into making the newer model xtr 2500.1dz surpass the older model xtr 2500.1d. Those that have felt Orion power will know the difference. Walmart website has the old model pictures of the xtr2500.1d. But it's the xtr 2500.1dz that make it confusing about what you would receive. Although Walmart has updated their Orion amplifier inventory, I'm Sorry to say that Walmart has not updated all their pictures on the Walmart website. With all this being said. Walmart still gets a 10 in my book when it comes to all around service!!!
I love this amp, it has all the power you need for a everyday system install. The only downfall i can say is that when i received the amplifer, i hooked it up and went to set the amp and my dials where broken right out of the box. If any suggestion just make more quality caps for you setting dials. But i managed to set it and its working great.
item is not labeled properly. it is labeled as xtr 2500.1 D but item really is xtr 2500.1 dz. there is a difference the xtr 2500.1 d max watts is 5000 were as the xtr 2500.1dz is 2500. they even show a xtr 2500.1 d in the picture. i should have after i saw the rating and other reviews.
