We really like it. It's third party store. But good customer service.
I purchased this bed in white after shopping for a bed for my now ""grown up"" almost 5YO toddler in local furniture stores. Besides having awful selections, their prices were way too expensive. I ordered the bed only and it arrived at my door in about a week. A girlfriend and I quickly assembled the bed and I fell in love with it. It was the perfect addition to my daughter's room! And, the platform height is perfect for a toddler who has/wants to climb up into her new ""big girl"" bed all by herself. My girlfriend liked it so much, I believe she is strongly considering buying the same bed for her daughter, although in a different color.
I ordered this bed for my 9 year old. Put it together in no time and was extremely happy with how strong and sturdy the bed is. Great height, queen mattress fits perfect in it. I was pleasantly surprised when it came with two different leg/foot heights. You could put the bed together if you wanted to keep the box spring or if you just wanted the mattress.
I read some of the reviews before buying and was a little concerned about shipping time but it only took 4 days from ordering to delivery at our door. The frame was easy to put together, I am mechanically minded. It does have two different height options. It also came with extra parts for each section that requires assembly.
They give you extra hardware and for the headboard there`s hardware to attach it to a metal bed frame if you want to use it on another bed ..Comes in three boxes ...one box has the head board and hardware for it ...one box has the slats and hardware for attaching it ...and one box containing the rails , legs and hardware ...Instructions are good very straight forward with drawings Each box has it`s own set of instructions for setting up that piece of the bed .There`s one set in the box that has all three instructions stapled together ,,The bed comes with two sets of legs tall and short...the tall ones are for setting up the bed without a box spring and the short ones are for setting up with a box spring All and all it`s easy to set up..They give you allen wrench`s but you will need a philps head screw driver You will need a hammer too just to pound in the wooden dowels. One other thing ...They say headboard measures 35.5 it measures 37 in. high when put together ...I bought the Full bed only It`s sturdy and holds my weight .around 190lbs.
We bought the Urban Lifestyle Orlando Platform bed, size Twin XL, with drawers, antique walnut color. It is very nice, comfortable and easy to assemble. We also had free shipping. Problem: it took 1 1/2 months to receive the bed. We place the order on August 4 and we got the bed on September 17.
Bed is great. We own 2 of them, one purchased from Hayneedle and one from another vendor. This bed is quite sturdy and supports a foam mattress well. There was one scratch on a drawer but the remainder of the pieces had perfect finish. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 reasons: 1) The directions provided are not the best and the screws provided to secure the slats are very difficult to place. If assembly is not your thing, this may not be for you. 2) The description on the Hayneedle site leads you to believe you are getting 4 drawers with a queen bed when you actually get 2.
I have ordered three beds. They arrived poorly packaged straight from the manufacturer. Fast but with damages. They look great. Have possibly for 2 headboard heights. Deep drawers.
This is not sturdy bed. The slats in the middle broke and the supporting beam also broke. And the main users of this bed were my two toddlers. I had to throw the whole thing away after owning it for less than one year. Very poor quality.
The order arrives in 5 boxes from Atlantic Furniture. Four of the five boxes contained universal parts that fit both Twin and Full size beds. The fifth box contains the headboard, which can be only Twin OR Full Size. I ordered a Full Size. They sent me a Twin. The instructions came with a Notice advising me to call Atlantic Furniture directly if I had a problem with the order, and NOT TO CONTACT THE RETAILER. The problem with this is that Atlantic Furniture closed for three months during Covid19 pandemic and just re-opened after July 5. They are dealing with a backlog of orders. When I called them I got an answering service who told me not to expect a return call for a week or two. It appears that Walmart might have an overstock of these beds delivered prior to the pandemic. But if they send you the wrong part, you're screwed.
