Perfect for ham and Swiss grilled sandwiched !!!
This bread is famous in my house for grilled ham and cheese sandwich sandwiches I use Swiss or pepper jack but this bread is a necessary item in this household. The bread is soft, large perfect for sandwiches too or toast and jam slices are perfectly sliced. There's not a bunch of air in the air pockets in the pieces of bread. It's just amazing.

Years ago I used to buy this bread as an indulgence as it was expensive. Now that it is cheaper I like it even more. Good for toast. Nice buttermilk snap but never overpowers a sandwich.

low taste, quickly stales
I keep forgetting that this bread has little taste %26 goes stale quickly. I like Dave's bread MUCH more, even tho it costs a lot more.

Today's date is Wednesday, February 18. I normally buy this bread but today's delivery the bread willl expired on February 22. That's just four days from now so no I didn't appreciate that at all. I will be returning this loaf of.Oroweat country style buttermilk bread ASAP.

For some reason, this loaf of bread was totally stale. It's all stale on one side. It's weird because it's usually a good bread and I buy a lot of it, but I don't think my shopper pays attention. I think she just gives me whatever is the cheapest whatever you guys wanna get rid of.
