Oroweat Country Style Potato Bread, 24 oz, Potato Bread, Bag

We always order Oroweat potato bread. A stable in our house. Great for sandwich or toast in the morning. Or my mother's remedy for her for her children with a queasy stomach - toasted bread and warm milk. A touch of compassion.

I always like eating potato bread it makes wonderful toast and it's digest easy and there's no gluten in it

I treat myself to potato or Hawaiian bread because of the taste and texture. Oroweat potato bread is one of the best I've ever tasted especially when making turkey sandwiches.

This was a substitution and is fresh and flavorful. Just a bit more expensive than my first choice.

First time I've eat this in several years. Might just be a fluke but not as moist as I remember. The taste is ok but if this is the regular way the texture is now I wouldn't recommend this brand. Needs to be more moist. May try one more loaf to see if this was just a one time thing then will write another review.

I happened to have a craving for "potato bread, so I ordered "Oroweat Country Style Potato Bread" instead of regular bread. It wasn't that great. It was pretty much just like regular dried white bread, not soft, nothing like potato bread, even the color. I didn't enjoy it.

This was always our favorite bread... until Oroweat stopped packaging it with the inner plastic sleeve. I understand the need for sustainability measures, but if it creates more food waste, it's a bad idea. Since the loss of the inner sleeve, this bread molds within only a few days of opening. We have purchased it a dozen times since the change hoping the problem would go away, but every time, it molded before we could finish even half the loaf. Sometimes it molds before we can even open it! Simply can't buy it anymore. Hope the company rethinks its packaging.

the loaf i received had a big hole in the top bellow the crust, the entire middle of the loaf was crushed on the top and pushed together. the date on it was good for another 9 days. when i opened the bag and took out the first few slices, there was nothing but mold in the entire middle of the slices.

I used to like this bread, but recently (for at least a few months), any time I buy it I've been greatly disappointed. Either my taste buds have matured or the quality of this product has really gone down. But this last purchase has ended all nostalgia I had for this bread. It smells and tastes bad, almost like it's dirty.
