These are the only ones I could find that didn't have calcium propionate in them. I wish the price would come down a bit these are 4x higher than what I was paying.
I know potato buns sound weird, that's what I thought, too. However, just give these a try. They're soft and toast up extremely well. Also, the shelf life is amazing. I've had a package on my counter for a month now, just taking one out as needed and they're still not moldy. Great taste and they last a long time.
These were really great buns. I really like that they're sturdy. You're not left trying to hold a hamburger and its fixings inside a broken bun that just disintegrated. Basically they have a very toothsome structure. I like to remove a little bit of the inside centerof the bun to make more room for condiments. Also, I found that the size of the bum was great because you don't have your hamburger in a bun that's too large or too small. As Goldilocks would say, “It was just right!”
Aside from the fact that everything is too darn expensive, including these buns, we like the buns a lot.
The buns are hearty and yet fluffy. However, do not let them sit around un-eaten for a week because they shrink, like all puffy buns.
Tried after seeing on YouTube's Chewed Up. What a game changer. So much better than regular hamburger rolls. Worth the extra money per roll!
love these for burgers toast them just a bit on the grill keeps them from getting soggie, and warm them up just a bit and they are great for pulled pork sandwiches
The buns were out of date by 2 days. If I had purchased them in the store I would have checked on exp date. I have purchased them before via pick up and never had this issue.
The bread and potato buns are squished and damaged. They were placed under the cans and other heavy stuffs. I want a refund.
