Ortega Original Taco Seasoning Mix, Kosher, 1.25 oz

I've recently stopped buying food from a certain 4 letter discount grocer, and this is one product that I forgot how much it matters. Ortega taco seasoning is so far and away superior than the no-name stuff I was buying. Nice and thick, great flavor. I'm never going back. Ortega all the way.

This is so much easier than measuring seasonings yourself and realizing at the last minute you're out of one or more spices. One little spice can make a huge difference.

In our families opinion Ortega is the best tacco seasoning there is. Its great for both soft and hard taco shells

I love to use this seasoning to make Relleno de Papa. I don't have to add any extra spices.

This is my favorite taco mix. I have tried others but was not as impressed with their flavor. Ortega is not too spicy, but just right for my taste. I'm glad Walmart started carrying it again.

The ONLY taco seasoning mix I love! But I buy it in the big plastic container. This way I just scoop out the number of tablespoons needed for the meal. Also, because it's only spices, it lasts longer than the expiration date if you keep it cool and dry. It's good as long as the spices are still potent.

Ortega is the ONLY taco seasoning I buy. I've tried at LEAST 4 generics and 3 other name brands and keep coming back to Ortega....WE LOVE IT!!! I will have to say that the sodium content might be a little high for some folks, there is a lower sodium version available. When I make a really large batch of taco meat I use both so not to over salt.

Chrck the ingredients. First ingredient is yellow corn flour which means the majority of this taco seasoning is fillers. Look at the ingredients in McCormick and you wont find any flour or other fillers, just spices. This is crap at its finest!
