Worked great when several other (natural) remedy did not. We hate to use chemical insecticides but the swarms %26 mounds were intense %26 getting stung was the final death for these massive colonies. Millions were dead in 10 minutes. Hopefully it is as residual as it says.

I've been using this to get rid of red antra since last year and it has worked for me. No complaints at all. I use it every 6 months and it helps a lot. I'm in central Florida and we have a lot of sand our lawn consists of sand basically which means ants are everywhere. I do use the powder that ortho has for red ants that goes with this product. I don't have to use it as much anymore but sometimes an ant mound comes so that works very well for on the spot treatment.

this ortho red fire ant killer works fantastic. i see a dirt mound in my yard, and i jeep thos product on hand always and use my handheld spreader to spread it over my entire yard. the i dump a cup or so of it right on any ant hills, and the next day their dead and gone. this year, I had to spread it in the spring ,and then again in august when they were back so it lasts about 6 months then eepeat if you see them again or just do it for precaution.

worked great but if you have mulch the ants that survive will move in under the mulch. treat the mulch also and water it in..

Easy to apply, and does exactly what it says. The ants are gone.

Have used this for years. Always works on my mounds ..and fast. Just sprinkle it on and leave ..the ants will be gone.

This seems to work well for my yard. I have so many ant hills that come every summer. I spread this all over my yard and they stay away for the year. I do use every summer. But I only have to treat one time.

Product does the job. The problem was that the bag wasn't sealed when shipped, when I opened the shipping bag, the contents went everywhere.
