We love the OM all beef product for all the right reasons, value, taste, texture, size, and they always come with a smile. Personally, I prefer to slice these dogs lengthwise in half, fry them in a skillet until the edges get browned and the meat just starts to curl. Now they are done and ready for just a bit of mustard, just enough to compliment the wiener, add to the bun or bread and wham! Excellent meal. On the grill, we cook them to near crispy, then add all the condiments for mouth-watering pleasures. Never disappointed; always satisfied.
I'm old school, still remember when oscar mayer was synonymous with hot dogs and bologna. Lots of brands now but what oscar does is makes the thin hit dog. I love a hot dog that balances the bun. If you want a hot dog that over powers the bun..keep looking. if you like that balance this may tickle your pickle.
Haven't had in a While the Texture is a Little Mushy and a Little to Salty I Prefer Nathan's 100% Beef Frank's but thought I would give these a Try again but I think I have Out grown them as a Adult I Prefer a little More Courser Texture and Snap to them when you Bite into it a More Mature Tastesing Hot 🌭.
I have tried other beef franks and other kinds of hot dogs. I find these Oscar Mayer Classic Beef Franks taste great. The texture is good and the casing doesn't have that plastic texture to it that some brands of hot dogs have. I have tried Ball Park and bit into a chunk of clumped hair within the hot dog. NEVER AGAIN. I have recently tried Members Mark Beef Franks and they are ok, but casing is not really great. So far Oscar Mayer is the best brand when it comes to beef franks and hot dogs for me.
These are better than the regular ones. Good flavor, a little more to them, and they actually taste like beef instead of just “hot dog.” The kids ate them without complaining and I did not mind eating them either. They cook up well and are easy for quick meals when you do not feel like making anything complicated. Still not anything amazing, but definitely a step up. I would buy these again.
I grew up on Oscar Mayer hot dogs and I love the beef version. I like the taste more than the regular ones and the texture is nicer to me as well. Just bummed from the high prices. Wish they made the beef one with cheese and/or chili in them or even onions.
These are beef hot dogs. They also fit the hot dog buns good. But better than that they come in a qty of 8. But they are divided in half into separate sealed selections that you can reclose. Therefore keeping them fresh.
These do not taste good. Leaves a film in your mouth, like a thick coating of grease. Why does manufacturers mess with our food. These cost way to much for wieners that do not taste good.
I've noticed a concerning increase in salt levels in all-beef hot dogs recently. What used to be a go-to snack has become unpalatable due to the excessive salt content. It's perplexing, given the growing health awareness. While some may enjoy extra salt, it's unnecessary and off-putting. Other hot dog varieties don't share this issue. This has unfortunately led me to switch to turkey, chicken, or pork alternatives.
Don't buy this sausages The meat had no taste, it tasted like paper soaked in starch, it was like I was eating cardboard scraps, not meat. Horrible sausages ever!!!
