Love this ham it is perfect for sandwiches. Some times I roll a slice and chop into shredds and add to omelets. Wrap around cream cheese yummy. It keeps well in the freezer. I love adding this ham to a casserole I make. Cook spaghettie, add chopped onion, sliced mushrooms, can of Mushroom soup, roll slices of ham and chop into ribbons to mimic the spaghetti. Mix everything together in a casserole dish sprinkle generously with parmesan cheese cook in the oven until bubbly.

In general this item is really good. The taste, texture, %26 lean. There is one reason i dont buy this product alot more. The smell! When you open this ham it has the worst smell. The smell is really hard to get passed. Just like a few other name brand lunch meats i cannot get passed the smell to eat it. Never noticed it before but the last couple of years alot of the lunch meat that are on the shelves has a horrible smell to them.

Have always preferred this brand but it used to come in smaller packages, which I prefer. It's more than likely that more than half of it will go bad before I can use it up because it's just too much in one package. Learned a long time ago that it doesn't freeze well because it's too watery when you thaw it out. Please bring back the 4 or 8 oz packages.

it doesn't taste bad, but doesn't taste like it used to so something has been changed in the formula over the years. my biggest problem is I cannot get the smaller package anymore and have to buy the family size pack. I guess Walmart doesn't think about single or older people who don't like to eat in bulk.

Overall product quality has diminished severely over the years. No longer is this a “premium “ product. Used to be 100% meat. Now it contains tendon, fat and other parts that were not acceptable in years past. When will youn guys start carrying the Honey Ham?

Ordered ham %26 cheese loaf. Not available, so instead of choosing to send my backup ham %26 cheese, they picked ham, and I didn't even get that!!! Was not in my delivery!! And all my frozen stuff was thawed out and soggy coz the driver had a few stops before me! That should not be allowed! Walmart makes a lot of mistakes lately and has lots of “not too smart” employees! They've made me mad a lot of times but they are the only grocery I've found that offers memberships w/free shipping. I've saved lots of money. I order a LOT from Walmart, coz I'm disabled and can't just go to the store to shop. As for the ham, I've had that brand before and it's very good. Sorry for rambling. LOL

the ham was over a year outdated!!!! I couldn't believe it 😦 I told my husband, look at that date, you can't eat that honey, you'll end up in the morgue! He wanted to bring it back to Walmart for a refund but I told him I already did the refund part once. So we threw it away and decided to shop at Publix next time 🤣
