Oscar Mayer, Naturally Hardwood Smoked Bacon Mega Pack, 22 oz

This bacon has great flavor and cooks up nice and crunchy just like I want it. It’s been hard for me to find a good bacon that will crunch up and not be too chewy. If you are looking for chewy, fatty bacon this isn’t for you. If you are looking for medium thin, crunchy, crispy, deliciously tasting bacon this is for you!!!!

I love this Oscar Meyer bacon, it is truly wonderful, I have been purchasing this for years and continue to do so, it definitely gets five out of five stars.

This senior, Senior has said it before and is repeating it now Oscar Mayer "OM" is one of the best brand names of meata around. So, it's no surprise that this bacon is rated high by me1 It's kinda funny to rate the "fat" on one of the fattiest meats we consume! But, I guess it means fat to meat ratio. so in that case I think, when all is fried up and you're having breakfast or a BLT and wondering what to do with the grease (fat),it's good!

We love this Oscar Mayer bacon in all forms (regular slices, center cut and thick sliced)! I have tried sooo many different brands but have found none to compare, even in the most expensive ones out there. From bacon and eggs to BLT sandwiches it simply tastes the best to us.

You cannot go wrong with Oscar Mayer Bacon! I prefer the Center Cut as it is much easier to cook, that said, I have started cooking my bacon in the oven. I line a large cookie pan with wide foil, I center the foil over the pan then take the excess foil edges and fold it upward around the inside edges of the pan to make higher edge around the pan to limit splatters to the oven. I put the shelf in the middle of the oven, preheat to 400°F, layer the bacon side by side touching (it will shrink a little as it cooks but not as much as frying). Then bake in oven for 12 minutes until it is to you preference of doneness. Mine usually goes about 17-20 minutes. You can store in the refrigerator for several days in an air tight container. I use a covered pyrex square container or you can wrap a desired number of pieces in parchment paper and put it in a plastic storage bag and freeze it. You can then remove however much you wish to eat or cook with. Hint: I drain my bacon some on paper towel but I leave a little grease on the slices for moisture and crispness in reheating. I reheat in the microwave for sandwiches (8 slices for about a minute) or toss it in the frying pan for a few seconds prior to scrabling our eggs. Really makes fixing breakfast a snap instead of a timely process. Be sure to save your bacon grease to use in cooking, a little bacon grease really adds flavor to green beans etc.

Oscar Meyer naturally hardwood smoked bacon has the salty flavor that you except for bacon. It's not overpowering at all just the right amount. It cooks up crisp and delicious. A great way to start your morning off with protein. Whether you like bacon alongside eggs or for a BLT this bacon comes through. It has the perfect texture of fat to give it super flavor, but not too much to where you have a greasy mess. It cooks well whether you fry it, bake it or even microwave, it's delicious and perfect every time.

I have purchased the Oscar Mayer brand of bacon for years over other brands due to the taste. The 22 oz package is a good, priced buy over smaller pkgs. I fry the whole pkg at one time so some can be used at different times for sandwiches, breakfast or dinner.

I'm giving it five stars because it's a reliable product and the taste is delicious. fat content is sometimes better, sometimes worse depending on the batch. this is my go-to bacon product. as always, I wish the big corporations would trickle down some savings to American consumers. $.50 here and there adds up for families.

This is the best bacon I've ever eaten. So glad I bought it the first time. It's the only one that I've bought in a long time. If fried in a pan, setting on %233 it cooks great and it doesn't shrink all up. 2 slices of bacon fried on low (3 or 4 setting) when broke in half makes a great BLT or bacon sandwich or bacon biscuit. It tastes so good and you can save the grease for frying eggs, which makes them taste better

I did not receive this item. I paid for it and received a tiny package of Great Value bacon instead. Also received a badly damaged can of Coconut Milk. I believe they shop in the damaged products to put in the call in orders. This is far from the first time this has happened to us. May have to start spreading the word on the treatment seniors get at Walmart.
