Taste great! I put 4 slices in the microwave for 30 seconds. Fast and great taste. I purchased 2 more to put in the freezer. Of course they are on the expensive side. I don't have a working stove, so this is worth it.
This bacon is quite tasty. We keep it for times we just don't have time to fry bacon. Straight out of the package or a few seconds in the microwave and you have it ready. Great for BLTs , salad toppers or as my grand daughter would say, "for my snack with blueberries".
I've been eating this ready bacon for a long time. I love that I can have a few slices tray to eat after 20 seconds in the microwave. I don't have to deal with longer cooking, storing leftovers, and disposing of melted grease. I make BLTs, stick some in a grilled cheese, crumble into my corn chowder, and a few more on the side of my eggs. Bacon feels like a treat and is easily portion controlled when you don't have a whole package to cook and keep eating. Some packages have more fat than others. That is my only complaint.
I like having this pre-cooked bacon on hand, as it saves me a lot of time and energy when preparing meals. As a person who really has to budget their energy level, I can appreciate the convenience.
One of the most amazing products they've ever come out with. Super fast and easy in a microwave. No mess. Absolutely delicious taste. Not much fat. I find most of the same product from other brands are pretty much the same, but some are less expensive and are just as good as this. I like bacon crisp and with with all brands, you can set your microwave to have it anyway you like it. I do find that other brands which are of in my opinion the same quality and you get more for your money. So I don't buy this brand unless it's on sale.
I use this to add to grits, rice, fresh kale or any greens when braising. Adds flavor, not salty. I would not use for sandwiches because this is not crisp. Although I suppose if placed in oven or air fryer for a few minutes it could be but I haven't tried Overall delicious for flavor profile
Oscar Meyer is overpriced but it was the only one available. It's not at all crispy, even after heating it up. Had a tremendous amount of fat, which is gross. I bought it to make BLTs. Next time, I'll just order raw and cook it myself. I expected better of Oscar Meyer.
I have purchased this brand many many times over and it's always been good … but this pkg I don't think was pre cooked at all! It was raw bacon! Very disappointed… pay the price for precooked and get raw . Perhaps it was a one in a thousand that got lost in the shuffle ..
The bacon is placed between waxed sheets. Well, not placed, more like a glob of bacon, not separated. And you can't separate them without them breaking off in small pieces. In a pan. They produce a huge amount of fat. They never crisp. They stay stuck to each other. They burn to a hard inedible piece, or become soft and chewy as leather. In the microwave, you get half burnt and half a white, fat piece that never crisped. They use the worst cuts of bacon. It's horrendous! And to think I bought two packages to make BLT's. Family members each bit into their sandwiches and then deposited them in the trash. It's like eating greasy cardboard pieces. Never again!!
The bacon was not packed well with bunched up pieces stuck together. Making it near impossible to separate and was tasteless. I also bought the Hormel Black Label fully cooked bacon to compare at the same time. It was packaged well so you could easily select my pieces %26 it tasted better %26 was .50 cents cheaper. I will buy the Black Label now.
