I like this bacon. I previously purchased the Hormel brand but had two pkgs of bacon moldy. Unfortunately, Hormel didn’t seem to care (despite pictures). Anywho, Im kind of glad that happened because I have found a better bacon and less expensive bacon.
Very thin slices BUT good taste. I use this bacon to make my own "bacon, egg, cheese" scramble cups which I cook in microwave. A lot cheaper to make yourself than to buy "cups" at store. Pop in microwave 10 to 15 seconds %26 the bacon is ready to eat. Very convenient.
This is my new favorite for bacon. You don't have to cook the whole package. If you want two slices just take them out and put them between 2 half pieces of paper towels. Set the microwave for 20 seconds and they are ready! No messy clean up just toss the paper towels and use the bacon however you wish!!
Been buying this for some time and never disappointed. This pre-cooked bacon is usually much leaner than the cook-it-yourself bacon. I usually only need one or two slices for whatever breakfast I'm preparing so this precooked is really convenient. Also I can rinse off a lot of the salt before I heat it up.
My oldest and my youngest love the already cooked bacon mainly because they don't need me to cook it throw it in the microwave and it's done this comes with quality bacon and a decent amount for both girls and I do recommend buying this over other brands
it's good as a shortcut but it's really thin so it's hard to see any value-especially because of the price for the weight. is the time saved really worth the integrity of the bacon? i would think not but sometimes i guess any bacon is better than no bacon. is it better quality than other precooked bacon? 👍 definitely and the fat is mostly cooked out.
I've been buying these weekly for a few months now. We usually love them but the last two packages we got didn't taste very good %26 had to be thriwn away. The dates are good and we keep them refrigerated but they taste sour. I won't know if something is happening during shipping or in storage at the stores but something isn't right. I think we'll change brands for a while because these cost too much to have to throw them away each week.
I really love this bacon but there have been quite a few times that the quality has been less than ideal, honestly unedible. I don't know who their Quality Control Department is but they definitely need to be fired and replaced because the quality, cook, fat content, and cut, all fluctuate so widely that you really never know what you're going to get but when you get a good box it is really really good bacon, but at this price point you should never doubt whether it's going to be a good box or not. I just wish that they had better quality control and that they would respond to emails maybe offer some type of compensation for the money that was lost on the packages I've had to throw away but I got nothing not even a response just poor customer service all around from Oscar Meyer
this tastes like real bacon. but if you've ever bought it you will see how terrible the packaging is. you have to use some kind of utensil to separate the slices and even then you'll end up tearing them to shreds. I've complained to the manufacturer several times about this product, they don't even care. This costs way more than it should and I don't buy it anymore.
I purchased this when we had out-of-town guests as cooking breakfast for a group can be a hassle. We did a trial run the week prior and this pre-cooked bacon got a thumbs down. The slices were uniform and it was easy to microwave but the greasy end result was a thumb's down. I'm not even sure where it all came from as it was “pre-cooked”! Not for us. Sorry.
