These battery candles work fine. I used them oto highlight different items we had out for Christmas. They flicker and at times I thought they were real Each one has a cr2025 battery. At first kind of difficult to turn on but I figured it out...There was 4 of them that did not turn on...so really do not know why,,

I love the warm yellow light that does resemble a candle flame. The on/off switch is a bit difficult to use. It's the terrible smell coming from the bottom of the lights that is NOT acceptable. It s very strong and smells poisonous. I have to wash my hands each time I turn them on or off.

These are difficult to turn on and I broke a thumb nail. Not happy with my purchase because of this. Otherwise they appear good.
