Great rucksack for travelling and walking days out, big enough for getting everything in for a long day walking including water, snacks, waterproofs, fleece and the usual. Also great for sightseeing around towns and ruins etc. , capacity can be reduced and increased with the side straps keeping it stable and according to specific requirements. Big enough for getting essentials in for overnight stays, loads of pockets make it easy to find stuff, really easy and comfortable to carry for a day. And what a superb colour!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a versatile pack that I could use for everyday outings, for day hikes and for travelling. This pack ticks all the boxes. It's comfortable, lightweight and has lots of pockets for storage. The reservoir sleeve, and front shove it pocket, are really useful for longer day hikes. I chose the gorgeous Iris Pink colour and I love that I can attach it to my Fairview 40 for travelling.
I loved my old 2020 Daylite Plus and I was a bit worried that the new version might not be the same. It has slight differences but it's still an excellent backpack. Same capacity, same good mesh pockets on the side, little front pocket slightly bigger which is great. Medium pocket deeper which is useful (unless you have problems finding little things at the bottom). Main difference is lack of the water bag compartment, which is actually an improvement for me as I don't need it and the back of the backpack is more robust without it.
I love this bag. It is so well designed and I have to say I am using it every day. I keep an Osprey ultralight tote in it as extra capacity in case I need supplementary shopping. A great combination
Very good size and good access to more frequently needed items Lovely colour Comfortable wing hip belt
Great bag, good size. Initially didn't like the straps everywhere, when in use the chest & waist strap so practical. Light and cool. Loved it.
Great for my daily commute for radiotherapy. My Yeti water bottle fits perfectly on one side and I use the other side for my umbrella…
It pretty much covers everything I need it for. I'm a little disappointed there's no loops to be able to attach carabiners for looping gloves or dry packs etc.
I've run into a strange design issue with this backpack. The clip that secures the front pocket sits right in the path of the main compartment's zipper. When I'm in a hurry, the clip blocks the zipper, leaving a small section unzipped. I have to slow down and carefully roll the zipper under the clip to close it completely. It's a small but annoying flaw.
I didn't like so many strap ends hanging down and the outer most pocket would be a faff to get into as it seemed to be obstructed by straps and clips attached to the main compartment.
