Osprey Farpoint 40 Muted Space Blue O/S

My old Osprey was getting very worn and tatty. I've used it everyday for over 2 years, for work and for going to the gym. Y by Ed c Fairpoint 4” is larger than my last one, plenty storage space and different parts. Well worth the money, well made and durable.

Done my research on this little gem, had a bad back for years but strengthened it now with weights and special core and back exercises, so I wanted a back pack that took the load on the hips and it's works incredibly well, I use it for 7,10 days away and it copes well , get some packing cubes they help, I love the black look and the quick access to your laptop, as like anything you've not going to please everyone but I'm very happy!

Great piece of kit. Took it for 4 days in Sweden and didn't need any further baggage. Carried around a fair bit too and it was super-comfy. Being able to fold away the straps made it even easier on the plane. Highly recommend.

Fantastic sack. Used it on the Camino de Santiago Ingles. Faultless. Fitted in a great amount of kit with ease. Not the lightest but top quality zips and materials with the added advantage of suit case opening and two handles. Straps zip away for travel. Shoulder straps and hip belt all excellent quality and fully adjustable. I am 180cm and 100kg with a heavy (not fat) build and fully loaded this was very comfy and once on and adjusted could not feel it at all. Overall I was thrilled with this sack and its features and quality.

This is the 2nd Farpoint 40L travel pack l have purchased ,they are really great for short weekends away.

I've purchased this to take as a holiday day bag no have only so far used it to run down to the shops but impressed at what you can put in it and how comfortable it is. Folding was much simpler than I thought it was going to be. Looks to be a useful little bag, will be interesting to see how the lining holds up after prolonged use (Ie years)

Very good travel back pack for those who wish to travel light. Well designed with some good design features to easily organise your belongings when travelling. Always impressed with Osprey packs!

I love the design and quality of this backpack. It's perfect for carry on luggage and holds enough for an extended backpacking adventure. Highly recommend!

Overall, the bag does what it says on the tin. Used for 4 weeks of travel. Could have done with a few small internal pockets/compartments for better organisation of smaller items but worked well with packing cubes.

Early days but seems well made and robust and you can get a lot in. Perfect for a weekend away or a bit longer. Previous version ( which I also owned) had a large separate pocket on the front, now moved to the back and intended for a laptop. . . I preferred the convenience of this at the front for separating stuff easily, so have knocked off a star.
