I'm not sure what the great reviews were for? These clippers wouldn't even cut thru my cats fur. Then to make it worse the guard kept popping off or jamming under the blade, not fun when you have your hands full with a furry cat that hates the sound coming at him..

I can't believe this is being advertised as quiet and for less stressful grooming of sensitive areas of pet like face. It's so loud my three labs and one cat are all giving a thumbs down on this product. I've ordered another from a different company. I remember when this company used to be highly recommended. Now they're playing fast and loose with the truth.

I really wanted to like this trimmer, but like the other reviewers mentioned about the trimmer not working even with replacing batteries, they were spot on. I bought one and when I went to turn it on there was nothing. I tried several batteries and still nothing. I returned it and stupidly bought another one and lo and behold the next trimmer didn't work either. This model is an absolute waste of time and money. I'm just going to purchase a different trimmer all together. The only plus side of this fiasco is that Walmart has a hassle free return policy.

Product did not work when I received it. And I guess the company knows it's a defective process because the put a big red sign in the package to contact the company if it doesn't work and not return it to the store.

Do NOT waste your money on these! They barely cut and get clogged way too frequent. Unless you have an animal that has short or hardly any hair, this is not a wise purchase.
