Otterbox is an excellent phone case. I wore my old one out after 5 years but my phone looks like the day I bought it. Otterbox is well worth the money to protect your phone investment. phones are not cheap. I am very satisfied.
Just excellent protection. I trust my phone will be fine from experience. Love the Defender series....
As with all Defender series cases ; the case is strong and feels secure (haven't dropped it yet}. Only complaint is that the belt holster seems a bit thinner and flimsy compared to the holster for the Defender Series for my old Galaxy S7. If I didn't feel that the holster will fail this would be a 5 star review.
I give this a 4 star because its a great case. Very grippy back. Not Huge in your pocket like some of the older gen phone otterboxes. A few reasons its not a 5 star. The case does cover the aux port so i wouldnt be able to use it without taking the case off. The belt clip to attach the phone to your pants or belt breaks easily. And it was expected to be 2 day shipping at first and it took 16 buisness days to get to me. Otherwise I Love the product and will probrably always stick with Otterbox Its just unfortunate that these few quarks happen to happen the thing i was most upset about is it took 16 buisness days to get to me leaving my phone vulenrable to scratches and cracks. ( The day after the case was supposed to arive i droped it and cracked the screen.) Its obviosly not Otterbox's Fault that i cracked my phone screen but if it wouldove been there the day that it was promised at first it wouldove been avoided. Other than that I love otterbox and its a great fit for people that are naturaly clumsy
For me there has been only one case for my Galaxy S series phones. The Defender Pro. Just upgraded to a S22+ andOnce again, Otterbox hit a home run, just not a Grand slam. The case itself is superb. Fits phone snuggly and is comfortable tohold. The belt holster may be an issue though. The plastic is thinner than previous versions (S10+). Hopefully it will be just as strong. Also phone slips in somewhat too smoothly with no decernable click. Don't know if case can be bumped out of holster.
Love Otterbox Defender case but the design of this box needs to be changed. The case itself is good and protective. The fit between the holster and the case needs a redesign. The issue? The litle indent that clips in to secure the phone on the holster is set forward so the phone can only be put in to be what I consider is upside down. Meaning the indentation on one side of the case only clips in. If you clip in the phone with the power button up it clips on the power button not on the indentation on the case which is made to clip in. So if you don't flip the phone so the camera and the 3 buttons on the side are facing down the power button will turn the phone on. To use the built in clip on this side one would need to face the screen to the outside and thus it would be exposed to getting struck and possibly broken. Seems like Otterbox missed on this design, at least to me.
While I love Otterbox, there colors, even on there own site, is limited. Black, Blue, Purple. Nothing else. How about a green or red or heck a yellow. Its built well, just bland.
I received a case that was very different in color. I was a huge fan of the dark purple with black camera trim but received a lighter purple case with a lavender camera trim. I ended up returning the case. Im not sure why i wasnt given what was advertised.
Nice tight cover and stylish however when you put in the clip the New Samsung buttons DO NOT ALIGN WITH CASES NEW CLIP....not good at all to put in holder as it turns on your screen and doesn't hold in clip properly. Disappointed to say the least.
First otterbox i cant stand. Clip design is awful. If phone is put in the way you hold it , the clip hits the button . So the phone has to be flipped. Absolutely annoying to use.
