OtterBox Defender Series Pro Rugged Cell Phone Case for Apple iPhone 15 Pro, Forest Ranger

I am a Commercial HVAC technician. OtterBox has saved my past 5 iPhones more times than I can count. I put my phone through a rough day at work and I play hard as well. I have dropped my phone sooooo many times with NO DAMAGE! Thanks OtterBox for a Great product!!

Otterbox makes your phone invincible. I'm not kidding. I just bought the 15 pro case since I am upgrading my phone, but I have had the Otterbox Defender pro case on my iPhone 11 for 4 years and am a customer for life!!! I am a serious klutz, work with horses for my career, and like to climb mountains in my spare time. I am not kind to my phone, let me elaborate. I dropped my phone on a gravel driveway and my horse stepped on it (with brand new steel shoes on). Phone is fine. I threw my phone off of a fire tower (taller than the forest) hitting trees and rocks on the way down. Phone is fine. I dropped my phone in a busy road and it was run over BY MULTIPLE CARS. My screen protector cracked but my phone is once again totally fine!! And these are just some highlights. I drop my phone on the concrete barn floor multiple times per day, every day, and I don't even worry about it anymore because Otterbox is just that good. I also use the belt holster that comes with the case. I wear my phone on my belt for an average of 12 hrs every day and am constantly taking it out of the holster and putting it back in. After several years the case is no longer as secure in the holster as it used to be, but I can't imagine how that would be avoidable given how much I use it. If you have horses, work outside, go hiking/camping, have chronic butterfingers near hard surfaces, do anything outdoors at all...you will definitely not regret buying this phone case. It's so worth it. By all accounts, I should spend hundreds and thousands of dollars per year fixing and replacing my phone, but instead I can happily use it anywhere and everywhere until it dies due to being manufactured by Apple, instead of dying a rapid death due to abuse at the hands of yours truly. In case you are wondering, I am NOT sponsored or compensated by Otterbox in any way. I'm just leaving this review because it's the only phone case that has ever been able to withstand my lifestyle.

I had the same Otterbox with my iPhone 7 and really liked it, so I decided to stick with the same case. I like the new one, but it doesn't feel as secure as the previous case. There can be two "clicks" to secure it to the holder. They both seem secure, but the first click concerns me so I push a bit on the phone until I get the second click. I realize the first click is probably where it's supposed to be, but I don't want to lose my phone so I get a bit over concerned with how secure it is in the holder. It just doesn't seem as secure as my previous case and holder.

Phone case camera opening does not fit if you have installed a camera lens protector. Holster work well with camera.

I've been using OtterBox on my last three IPhones. The case is very durable and protects my phone. I'm sad there is no longer a protective screen with the case. But the main thing is the protective rubber over the case prevents the Wireless Charging. I'm required to remove the rubber to be able to wireless charge my IPhone 15 Pro.

The case does its job, protects it and so far have had no major issues. However, the case creaks, the rubber part of the case is already getting loose, and it has a very loose fit in the top right corner. For a case this expensive, and as an avid otterbox user, I had high expectations only for them to disappoint in the quality of the case. I do not recommend this product.

I am only giving 3 out of 5 stars because one of my favorite features of the Defender case is the holster and it has changed. I have owned three Defender cases prior to this one. I loved how they would protect my phone when hiking. The new case for my iPhone 15 Pro only allows the phone to snap in with the screen facing out. Not very protective. Really bummed it doesn't fit like it used to.

I had this type of case for my iPhone 12 mini, so when I got my iPhone 15, I ordered a new case for it. Somehow, this case doesn't seem to be as good as my previous one; when I snap the phone to the back of the case, I don't get the "click" that lets me know it's fastened securely, and in fact, I've had the phone pop off the back a few times. I've tried to make sure it's fully snapped into place, but I just don't trust that the phone won't fall off my belt. On the upside, when it does fall off, the case around the phone seems to protect it from the fall.

Phone falls out of clip all the time… wonder when I'm going to lose my phone

The plastic around the camera cracked and broke within the first week. It was not dropped or anything. Other than that I have been enjoying the case.
