OtterBox Defender Series Pro XT Clear Case for MagSafe for iPhone 16 Pro - Clear

Having been a customer for twelve years, I've had to have my Otter Box replaced more than once because of wear and tear. . . . with never and extra charge. Gravity is relentless but so is the Defender. I dropped my iPhone 6, 12, and 17 more than once and defender did its job every time!

The case is durable and functional. I like the cutout for the button because it actually helps serve as a tactile way to feel if you have the phone upside down or not. I also like that it is transparent so you can see the phone you paid for. Why bother buying your favorite color if the case covers it up. It also has a rugged feel and although I haven't dropped my phone think it would protect it just fine.

I get a new otter box for each new iPhone that I purchase. It has saved my phone countless times when it's been dropped. Even on cement. I am sure it's saved me a few replacement iPhones over the years. I use it with a holster so carrying g the phone is quite easy. I even carry it on my belt when motorcycle riding

Slightly expensive but worth the extra dollar if you're trying to protect your phone from those butterfinger fumble drops and the occasional slapping it across the room when attempting to catch it. Iykyk lol. Tighter sleeker %26 slimmer than previous OtterBox like the basic black OG version from years past. Pretty nifty for Mag accessories and pop sockets holds well on mounts too strong magnet better than anticipated.

I just got an iPhone 17 pro max and got a defender series case with belt clip , well long story short belt clip sucks doesn't hold your phone like it normally does , I only had my phone for less than one week my phone fell off the belt clip and cracked my screen protector if the belt clip was made like it usually is this wouldn't be a problem

I have always used the defender series case for my iPhone. This new model for the iPhone 17 is very ascetically pleasing but it is not as sturdy as the previous versions. I have had the case 2 weeks and there is already a small crack I'm the back of the case. Makes me concerned it will hold up to the 4 year longevity of the previous cases.

I wanted to love this phone case. And I was excited that they offered a case with the highest DROP+ Rating that was also pretty. I purchased an iPhone 16 Pro which has the new "Camera Control" which is not only a clickable button, but you can slide your finger on it for additional functions. For some reason, Otterbox decided that to use the Camera Control, you need full access to it from the front of your phone, so the case is "cut out" around the control - you can see it in the pictures. At first, it was just annoying that seemed to be where my thumb wanted to rest regularly - but there was no case edge there. Then, within a couple days, I cracked the glass screen protector right in the center of the "open space". I don't even know how it happened - I didn't drop my phone. But I must have bumped it on something right at that point. Otterbox cases are supposed to protect the edges, but they left this big Achilles heel. And then my thumb kept resting on the sharp edges of the cracked screen protector. Almost every Otterbox series has that stupid open space for the Camera Control that is totally unnecessary. I've already purchased a new case (different brand) - it does not expose the area above the Camera Control, and I can use the control just fine. I have such high expectations of Otterbox, an they just didn't meet them this time.

Despite installation of defender pro and screen protector my screen cracked within two weeks - without even dropping it. Just in my coat pocket. My only explanation is that it must have been hit at a weird angle by my door key in my pocket or something like that. The crack is next to the ring on/off button on the phone. But really I thought this would provide more protection. Hugely disappointed.

Case and clip are junk, I've been a loyal OtterBox customer for years and for the past 2 phones I had the phone has fell out of the clip, the last phone fell off while running machinery and got ran over and the current phone I walked down steps and fell off and broke camera

I've had an Otterbox for over 7 years but ever since the 16 Pro Max case came out with the cutout for the action button, they completely damaged the case, leaving that area unprotected. When I bought the 17 Pro Max and saw that there was a physical action button, I thought it was the end, without thinking twice. I bought it before the iPhone 17 Pro Max came out but when I had the phone in my hand and put it on, I saw that every time I picked it up, the action camera button was activated, which was not normal. That has a problem and OtterBox has to fix it, which I hate terribly, which is why I returned it.
