OtterBox Pursuit Series Dust Protection Rubber Case for Samsung Galaxy S10 - Black/Clear

Great Product

I bought this case just a few weeks ago and am quite happy. It feels solid and like it will protect my phone well. I work on a few ranches in west Texas and require a case that is not only tough but can also defend against dust. This case does just that. I was no longer worried about a serious waterproof case as my phone is already built to be waterproof.

this isnt what I expected. its not the soft rubber like the one im replacing. but because my phone is old i don't want to spend the extra money. it will loose support anyway. the con ? they need better instructions on how to take case apart. there weren't any instructions on the web that explained anything about this case. i ended up stumbling on the correct way by accident. if you sell it, then support it. not everyone is a teenager with perfect eye sight. I was so close to smashing it, that it wasn't funny. at least not for me. otterbox has the best cases ive ever used. my last one kept my phone from getting smashed so many times i couldn't even count them. im talking about my phone falling from the top step on a big rig. right onto pavement. last i only got this because of price. the descriptions online were very confusing to me. its still a good case. only time will tell if its as good. being hard plastic i have my doubts. if you have a fairly new phone make sure you get the rubber one.

I love the case. the only reason for 4 stars is the clear back scratches so bad. It was all scratched the very first day. the quality of the case is great . I love the design. I also have the defender pro which is great except so bulky. This is less bulky and fits in a pocket much better

I've always had otterbox as I'm about the worst person to have a fragile item.. I've always got the defender.. total all round protection, I've dropped it so many times and never damaged the phone inside. But when I got my new S10 I wanted something a little sleaker and less bulky. I was unsure of the pursuit but was sold.on its looks and trusted in the otterbox name, paid the whopping 85bucks and hoped I hadn't just wasted it... when it arrived, exactly when it was supposed to, I ended up you tubing to work out how exactly to get the thing apart, but then it was was easy to fit. The look and fit is great and manages to still have that slim phone feel about it. I do find the back to be a bit plastic feeling and very smooth, it has slipped out of my hand twice and only the fact that I actually fitted the lanyard and had it over my wrist that saved it from being truly tested. I haven't actually dropped it so not tested the protection offered, but so far I really like it. Fingers crossed I don't test that bit out.

the Good: Got the case a few weeks ago and it's very strong and hard. Does what is is suppose to. Con: hard to push the buttons as its too stiff. Very slippery and like the softer (grabby) backs of my older Otter on my S7 so it doesn't go sliding around. Will find a replacement for this reason only. Waiting for Otter to get more choices soon, I hope.

I like the thin design of the Pursuit, but the side buttons are very hard to press. It is also fairly long and the bottom sound channel extends about 1/4" below the phone. This makes for a long tunnel for USB-C plugs to fit through, and some plugs don't fit.

The case offers good protection. It adds bulk, but not too bad. Still, it makes the phone too big to fit into my phone holders on my bike and car. For that reason, I have to take it off often. That's where the problem lies. It's not that easy to take off and put back on. I wish I had ordered a one piece case.

The description called this a rubber cover but it's really mostly plastic with a rubber edge. The back is entirely plastic. It doesn't give as much potential protection as other rubber covers I've used. The buttons are very hard to push. About the only thing I like about it is that it gives me something solid to hold on to when using the phone.

I've been a user of your products for some time and have always been pleased with my purchases. However some what disappointed with this product. Quality seems low for price I've paid. Have seen similar products of same quality for half the cost. Wish I had gone with my last choice on my S8 the folio for my galaxy S10 really was impressed with that product.
