Excellent USBC-USBA Cable by OtterBox. Cable looks and feels way sturdier than most cables you will see. I use this with my Samsung Galaxy S20 Android phone fir charging and data transfer and it works great. No issues with it. 2M or 6.6FT is a little on the long side for most use cases but I would rather have it be a little too long than be too short. And comes with velcro to wrap the cable when not in use. Buy with confidence!
This cord comes from a brand that I have always felt made really good and high-quality products and I am definitely not disappointed at all with this cord. It is made really well and I like that I can roll it up and use the velcro to keep it together if I need to put it up when I am traveling or just to get it out of the way. I also like the blue color of the tips that go into the phone or the charging block and do like that the cord itself is black as I just prefer a darker cord so it does not look too dirty. The length is a decent length and both ends of the cord fit tightly and are not loose at all. As for charging up my phone, the cord definitely does the job well and truly does charge up my phone fast. I will mention that my phone is a newer phone that was released this year, but not a "high-end one". I have not tried it on my other devices or for any other reason other than charging up my phone but this is now my go-to cord when I need to charge up my phone.
This is my first Otter Box cable, and I am so impressed with it. It is thicker and sturdier than my other cables. The places where regular cables usually fail are sturdy on the Otter Box cable. It is more manageable because it is thicker. I can see and feel that this product was built to last.
The OtterBox Strive Series Charging Cable is pretty good. The quality of this item is great. I love that it comes with a small velcro cord that I can use to secure the cord when I wind it up for traveling. With just the brand name alone I know that this cord is dependable and will last me a good while. I'm currently using it in my car to fast charge my phone. But I've also used it to charge other things around the house too.
This USB to C cable is 6.5 feet long and is of very durable quality. The cable is coated and feels heavy duty. It has a velcro strap attached to it so you can keep it rolled up neatly. I carry it with me in my purse, so it's always easy to find and not a tangled mess. You do have to have an electrical USB charger plug for it as it is not included.
The cord looks and feels high quality. It has good flexible strain relief at both ends and should be quite durable under heavy use. The heavier cable resists tangling. Longer cables may slow down data transfer, so I did a test with a large video file on my PC. I connected a fast device to the PC with a short cable and next this longer one and tested the transfer times. With the shorter cable, the time was 58 secs. but was a faster 51 secs. with this longer cable. Apparently, this long cable is of noticeably higher quality than the short one, which came as a surprise. While this data transfer didn’t test USB 3 maximum speed limits, it’s clear that this cable is both physically and electrically excellent.
This charger cord works pretty good. It maintains a decent charge and charges my device pretty quickly. The cord is a decent length and it’s compact enough where I can take it with me wherever I go. I also like the color of it. I have a couple of devices I can use it with, so it comes in handy. It does what it’s supposed to do.
Thought I could use it to transfer files from an older a-type smart phone to a new c-type one. The c-type side of the cord is just regular usb that can be plugged into a desktop or laptop. So it's just a cord for older android phones. It does look very heavy duty though.
Good and sturdy as a cord goes. Very flexible with a firm but flexible coating around the electrics. This one is not likely to fray and brak the wires as many do over time - sometimes too short a time. Also appreciate the velcro tie to help corral the cord in transit.
The cable arrived well packaged and undamaged. This is a charging cable for any device that uses Type C connectors. The cable feels a little thin, but does seem to be well put together. The cable is 6 feet long. That's a nice length for on my office desk. I use the cable to charge my phone while I'm working. I have noticed that my phone goes into fast charge when I'm using the OtterBox cable. That's a really good thing. The cable is flexible and stores easily on my desk. OtterBox has been around for a good while. I've used their products before and were happy with them. That's why I picked this cable. I would recommend this cable to anyone who needs or wants fast charging technology in a well made cable.
