I bought this rug for my hallway. I have hardwood floors. I didn’t need to buy padding to go under it. It stays in one place. Well worth what I payed for it. I’m thinking about ordering another one. Because my hallway is longer and needs two.

Love this runner! It was the first I've owned. It does not slide around like another runner I purchased. It looks great in the kitchen and the color is as shown. I wish it came in other colors besides solid at this price point. Definitely a good buy. Would buy again and recommend to others.

The rugs ARE DEFINITELY rubber anti-slip. I have been looking for rugs exactly like this and very happy that Walmart carries the Ottosman Brand Name. I've had rugs in the past from this same brand and I know that they last, are made of quality material and best of all, I am comfortable knowing that I won't fall or trip over these rugs. The color was called red, but to me it's more on the darker end of the spectrum, perhaps maroon would've been a better color description. I lined two rugs in my long hallway and then placed three more around my bed-front, and both sides. The material will not fray so no need to worry about your pets. These are beautiful runner rugs in the right size. Thank you for carrying Ottoman's Brand as they are just about the only brand who actually carries rubber backing rugs that won't slip.

I purchased two of these rugs, one for the kitchen and one for by the kitchen door. I decided to try one in the kitchen first in front of the sink. To make a long story short, the rug is much smaller than I anticipated, having purchased rugs from this company before, I expected a quality product. It's more of a mat than a rug. It does not wash well at all, and once you wash it, it slides all over the place. I must have a rug I can wash! Otherwise, use it for a while and throw it in the trash. The color was bright red and before washing the rug did not slip. Overall, I thought it was cheaply made. Maybe I had the wrong expectation of this particular piece, but I'm sorry I bought two, and I never got around to taking the other one back. So here it sits rolled up and I really don't know what to do with it. I will probably end up donating it somewhere or using it and then throwing it away. Like I said, I did have great expectations having purchased some very nice runners from this company before via Walmart. I'd like to know what happened to them. They were legitimate runners that could be washed in the washing machine and air dried or machine dried on low. They are wearing very well. So I do not recommend this runner for house use or much of anything all that's going to need maintenance. If you're showing a house and will throw it away or have a short term use, this item will do.

I absolutely love the deep red color and feel of this area rug. However, I tripped on it a couple of days after I laid it down at my front door. Perhaps if it were a “heavier” rug, that would not have happen? I think this nice rug would go great in an area one does not have to walk over every day (like under an accent table or something). Otherwise, it might be a tripping hazard for some.

It is a very cheap quality rug.
