OUIDAD Advanced Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel – Stronger Hold 8.5oz/250ml

It's easy to manage and absorbs quickly! It smells great, controls, the frizz while still leaving my hair soft, without the “crispy” feeling. Overall, i would recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked how this Ouidad Climate Control maintained my hair throughout a hot day at Six Flags. It left my hair feeling soft and gave it a wet-like feeling. Not too drying, but gives the perfect hold. I have wavy hair with light curls that frizzes up when dry but after using this product, my hair didn't frizz up like it usually does. I loved the outcome of it! In my opinion, this gel is worth every penny and will definitely recommend it.

It smells good and feels thick upon application but once it settles in the hair it's perfect. It leaves a bit of a cast but I just go over it with a lightweight oil and it turns out beautiful.

It's a lightweight, non-sticky gel that's easy to apply and evenly distributes throughout my hair. I applied a small amount to section of my hair using a curl brush the scrunch. As a result, I have no frizz or flyaways, and my curls are shiny and have a flexible hold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fellow curly-haired people who live in the South, you NEED to get the Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Heat and Humidity Gel (Stronger Hold)!! I have long, fine 3B hair that will hold curls easily but is very prone to frizz with the humidity we have here in South Louisiana. I always look for products to help keep the frizz at bay while also being lightweight. Ouidad Climate Control Gel does just that! It gives my hair a great cast (if you don't know what that is, go look it up on a few curly method pages and thank me later-it's a game changer for staying power with fine hair) that I can even sleep in after washing. [See my picture for what my cast looks like when I wake up, before styling.] All I do is apply any product(s) with Ouidad Gel being last, use a curl defining brush to help the clumps form, reapply a bit of Ouidad Gel if any smoothing is needed, do a plop for a short time, then diffuse upside down... Done! Once I'm ready to style and break the cast, I soften it with a bit of hair oil and my curls are still completely defined and frizz free. I will continue to use and recommend Ouidad Climate Control Heat and Humidity Gel (Stronger Hold) because it is perfect for fine curly hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm in love with this gel. It doesn't have a strong fragrance. It's very easy to apply doesn't leave hair flaky or white like other gels. It defines curls. I use it when my hair is wet and just let it air dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product pleasantly surprised me! When dispensing the product, the gel has a lightweight serum like consistency. When applied to wet hair, it transforms into a mousse like texture that allows the curls to clump instantly. Once my hair dried, gel left a slight crunch and hold which I liked. However, I wished the gel provided a stronger gel cast. The best thing about this gel is that it held up in the humid Texas heat!

My hair was frizzy and it was humid during this particular day. I think my curls look a little more defined but overall didn't do too much for frizz or humidity control. The scent is great but maybe try a small bottle before buying.

However it is does have a very hard cast that will need to be scrunched out if wanting a softer result. I did find it also leaves behind a white cast which can be frustrating and resulted in having to wash it out. May be better suited for slick backs.

I used it after the shower and my hair was still frizzy afterwards. It could be worse, but I wasn't necessarily stoked over the results; especially for the price but maybe it might work better for other hair types.
