Ouidad Curl Quencher Moisturizing Conditioner 8.5 Oz

I have low porosity hair and it takes a lot of conditioner to penetrate. This! This is now my forever conditioner as long as the formula stays the same. It takes very little and leaves my hair smooth.

this product was recommended to.me by a professional hair stylist to deal with tight curls. it works well. is a bit on the expensive side but the aspect I like least is the design on the bottle with the size of the opening in the cap being tiny for how thick the product is. I often have to remove the cap entirely to dispense. a pump or an upright tube design would be much better.

The conditioner left my hair silky smooth. I really liked the fact that this was a thick conditioner, I left it on for about 3 minutes as advised on the bottle and loved how my hair looked and felt!

It is incredibly lightweight, which is perfect because it hydrates my curls without weighing them down or leaving any greasy residue. My hair feel soft, bouncy, and much easier to manage after each use. The scent is also wonderful– fresh, clean, and not overpowering, so it leaves my hair smelling great all day. The scent reminds me of a watermelon jolly rancher. Overall, it works really well and gives my curls the moisture and definition they need while still feeling light and airy.

Although my hair looks healthier and more defined, it also feels surprisingly dry and lacks the softness I expected. I really wanted to love this product because it smells nice and helps with curl definition, but the dryness and irritation make it hard for me to continue using it. It might work better for people with a different hair type, but unfortunately it didn't suit my hair and scalp.
