Our Generation Jamila 18" Baking Doll

I am a huge fan of OUR GENERATION 18” dolls. The box that they come in, features not only the picture of the doll and their name, but a girl or group of girls, doing good work in their communities. Proving even just one child can make a huge difference. The 18” dolls have lots of separate outfits, as well as, even well built structures, i.e. Harry Potter's Herbalogy Hot house, HP train, Bakery, Log Cabin, by all different companies, so no shortage of gift items there. Lots of bakers dolls too. As for the Our Generation dolls themselves, the kids just love them. Especially when you can find one to look like them and maybe give a little cut or hairstyle to make it an effigy doll. I found that their hair was so very easy to cut, that for a Harry Potter classmates for Ron and Draco, I actually used long hair girl dolls, just with a hair wash and clip. Then using the My Life HP school uniforms outfits both the girl %26 boy characters for a class picture. For the HP guy dolls (just dyed the light blue pants with black dye for an almost perfect match gray). Some Our Generation dolls come with dogs which the kids absolutely adore. The kids had a dog park playtime with picnic in no time. Hours of play. Love it!

They own some of the other Our Generation dolls, so Jamila fit in very nicely. She is a standard 18 inch doll, so most doll clothing will fit her well. We are very satisfied.

The detail is amazing, the little accessories are the cutest (and no safe for under 5yo, lol, just a heads-up), and the doll itself is well made. It has also a nice weight that makes it slightly sturdier to play with. Jamila has the best hair! I am now wishing all the dolls had her hair! It looks much more easily to take care of! You won't be getting tangles every 3 seconds. I love her!!!

Our generation Jamila is a pretty girl that indulges in baking. My 3 year old was thrilled to have her as it inspired her to ask questions about baking. She also loves to play with Jamie's hair as looks a lot like her. My daughter speaks to Jamila like she's real and improves her growth in empathy. This is a must have.

Her clothes are cute and we really love her bow. She comes with a few baking accessories which my daughter loves. I wish there had been a little bit more included with her but my daughter is happy with them. This doll is a fun friend and helpful companion to make yummy sweet treats for everyone.
