I hadn't watched this movie in 40 years. Always loved the soundtrack (except for one passage). It is a love story, of sorts, but has elements of infidelity to which I vehemently object. Still, theres no denying the truth of love in the movie. What really struck me was the the story is TRUE. I never knew that until accessing special features on the dvd. Good movie, but sad. Yes, I did cry at the end.

This movie is a classic! Meryl Streep and Robert Redford were excellent. This movie is amazing and the scenery is spectacular! I would highly recommend this purchase.

A wonderful movie
A wonderful movie. I was waiting to get it at a great deal to add to my movie collection. It is a move that I love and will watch over and over again.

Great sound and scenery
I love the movie so far but will have to return it because it is stuck at the intermission point. It just keeps playing the intermission music and won't go forward. But I will re-order it again, l love the movie because of the sound and beautiful scenery and it has a great story to tell.

Great classic. Wonderful storyline. Pure romance. Have watched it at least 15 times. Meryl Strep and Robert Redford are such iconic actors.
