The net sets up and is taken down easily, just like a dome tent. Notes: push the poles thru not pull. Before inserting the pins in the 2nd pole, tie the two poles, to the tent with the straps provided at top dead center on the outside of the tent , The tent fly/target expect when a real golf ball hits it, yes it's loud. The PLASTIC golf balls you get with it are worthless. They will break in two, like egg shells. For 60% sound elimination use plastic wiffle golf balls (Walmart) they work great and they will hold up, besides the effect to be achieved is improving your swing. Your practice is not distance related, therefore I like the target horizontal and vertical site which gives me feed back on just how much I am on target line. The white circle targets are actually a small net. Good for pitching not sure over time if they would hold-up to real golf balls landing in them with force. If set up on a hard surface expect to need a carpet or similar ball deadening effect on the floor of the net otherwise even waffle balls will be bouncing all over. I would invest in a ball tube (Walmart) to pickup the balls b/c without one it's a downer. (a small box can act as your ball bucket) Regarding outside set up expect breezes over 12 mph to early get under the flooring as the tent is held down at the corners. Approximately (4) tent weights 10-15 lbs (Walmart) for the middle inside, of each side. I have used wiffle golf balls in a similar situation before and they are worth while.. The alleged practice grass surface is laid on foam and it only 12 inches long which you catch the back of the pad with your club. Indoor or outdoor its worthless but don't be alarmed there is a (1) foot x (2) hitting pad available (Walmart) . It's base if made of hard pliable rubber (4 lbs) with an artificial grass surface with a notch for a rubber tee. It will be stable and hold its position for multiple hits before it needs adjusting or if you are obsessed with the mat alignment, the toe of your club can move it quickly back into position. I would invest in multiple rubber tee heights for irons, hybrids, fairway woods and Driver again (Walmart). I do not work for Walmart, but all the items mentioned above I have from Walmart online or located similar items. Some bought like the wiffle balls (45) and 1/2 dozen rubber tees were from Walmart. I mention this because for you to really enjoy using the net multiple times rather than one and done, or if your buying it for your kids, if you don't supply these items, it will definitely be one and done IMO.
