Easy to use even though Zi have balance issues . Sturdy handy to have to avoid using a bigger ladder. Will use in my kitchen to reach top shelf

This step ladder works really well it's easy to open and close it's sturdy the balance bar is great I feel safe when I use it and its built really well it comes with extra feet for the legs it's well worth the money

Easy to use and love handle bars

I like this ladder. It says it will hold 400 pounds, but I don't know if I would trust that. But it does seem to be a good quality ladder. The tool tray looks rather useless to me.

The description claims a 400lb use rating but under no circumstances would I recommend testing that rating. This ladder may be fine for light household use (changing a light bulb, stocking kitchen cabinets, pantry, washing/waxing the top of a tall vehicle, etc.) but under no circumstances would I recommend this ladder for any type of serious home improvement or painting, or any task where you're on the ladder for long amounts of time working with both hands or weighed down by a toolbelt and equipment. The steps are narrow and shallow, the reinforcement/locking mechanism is not confidence inspiring, and the there is no certification of weight limit affixed to the ladder. Also the floor protectors are very thin and I would not trust them on nice wood floors. They include a second set of floor protectors (because they're so thin) but what good is a second set if the first set fails and damages flooring?

Useful BUT can be dangerous as I have not found out how to lock the steps and a false move can cause the steps to fold down while you're atop. There is a metal clip but it doesn't lock down properly. Package did not come with instructions, either.

Yes, it's a step ladder, but it still should come with instructions. The little black lable on the side is a substitute for the instructions and the warning. All the letters are run together, and there are no instructions but warnings. This label was compromised because it was never adhered to the ladder properly in the first place, and the packing plastic was underneath it. This pulled the little instruction label off when the plastic was removed. Also, there is no weight limit and any sort of American testing institution warnings on this ladder. So, it may be possible that it can hold 400 lbs, but it is not certified. Next, there is a little piece of plastic on the side of the grip that possibly is there to hold a screwdriver or other small tool, but in actuality, it is a flimsy piece, and there is no other indication as to what purpose it serves. The unit also comes with extra rubber feet, rubber stops, and a tiny Phillips screwdriver. Are the rubber feet and stops going to wear out quickly and need to be replaced? Are the screws that hold it together going to start coming loose? The rubber feet only have rigid support on the sides and not all the way through the middle of the bottom. You can actually push the feet in with your pinky finger. But, they did hold a 160 lb person without giving or sliding. Lastly, while it is advertised as an Outmaster, there are no indicators of this, and the Chinese name is crammed in the writing on the Instruction/Warning label. It was shipped in a generic plastic bag inside of a generic cardboard box. It is still cheaper than other ladders in this segment that are far worse. It is sad that ratings are beginning to be based on how well an item stands up to the worst ones in the category and not the best ones because there are only a handfull of good ones that are hard to find or far overpriced.

Very narrow steps. Did not look at all safe to use. Wasn't very tall at all.
