Outward Hound Hedgehogz Fuzzy Plush Dog Toy with Squeaker, Large

My poodle mix had a larger version of this toy before. My Maltese would constantly tear it apart. I had to sew it up about half a dozen times until it was completely destroyed, with no legs, feet, or nose left. I eventually threw it away. It was the poodles favorite toy. When I got this one, she was ecstatic and has been playing with it for the past two hours. Then, she curled up in her bed with it. She had never slept with toys until she got a hedgehog. I’m not sure what it is about these things, but dogs seem to love them.

I gave it 5 stars because it is my dogs' favorite toy. They are durable and fun! I ordered 3 this time. One of them is not stitched and stuffing is coming out at the left front leg so I hope to exchange it for another one.

This toy is adorable plus it is very good quality. It is also made in a safe fashion for pets because it doesn't have any hard plastic eyes or other parts that pets can chew off and swallow. It is an all fabric piece which is very pet safe. My Standard Poodle, Belle, loves it and has fun trying to make it grunt or squeak (it does both). It keeps her entertained for long periods which it great. I highly recommend this toy!

My dogs LOVE this toy. They love toys that grunt and this takes it to another level with added squeaks. It holds up against aggressive play between two large-breed dogs, the grunt sound even lasts (which has been a problem with past toys). The medium is the most comfortable size for one of my dogs to hold, with large being perfect size of hedgehog-to-dog. The extra large is too big, but works in a pinch. The small size would be far too small for them. They don't chew the hedgehog, but one of them does whip it around by it's feet and it's held up.

It's a very cute durable toy for our dog. Grunts just like it should. Our dog is older and has pretty bad heartworms (she had them when we adopted her at age 5), so she gets tired out really easily. She also only plays with any toy only a few minutes. She has playfully attacked this hedgehog from time to time and she likes it near her.

My dog loves these little guys. She now has 3 at home (different sizes). Some only squeak , one grunts and squeaks. She picks one up and runs around the house with one, and shakes it with all her might. My husband loves to watch her.

My dogs love hedgehog toys, especially ones that make grunting sounds. I bought 2 of these because of price and size they said they were. 1. Both of them made no sound but both had the things inside to make noise. 2. Description said it was going to be large and that this was a sale. These hedgehogs are not large. They are the same size as the ones you would buy in the store for the same price and those are small. Overall disappointed. Dogs are not even interested.

Last all but 30 seconds - the dog was able to chew thru the cloth and everything inside and was done with the toy within a minute.

My 12 year old Golden retriever chewed pieces of the fur off within 5 Minutes. She has NEVER destroyed any toy. All she does it carry them around. Durability gets a ZERO JUNK!!!
