Nice and compact I use it for my spices I need to mince better then bringing out the big food processor
I needed a grinder to grind spices because I could not find Rosemary & Thyme in a powder form. I could only find these spices in their natural small plant needle shapes that I did not like in my food, such as dressing & casseroles. It does take a lesser amount when measuring the spices in powdered form, & the flavor of the spices is still great. This little grinder is small, doesn't take up much space on the counter, & grindes the spices as fine as I want them.
This is a good value grinder. Remove the clear plastic lid, pour coffee beans in, replace the lid, press and hold the ON button. The blade spins quickly. Release the button when the coffee is ground to the fineness you want. You can always re-press the button for finer grind. The instructions state a 30 second maximum grind time between uses to allow for a cool-down. I ground a pound of coffee in about 15 minutes and it worked great. No mess, spills. Easy clean up. For the price, it's a great value.

Terrific retro decor matches my white hobnail canisters. Most of all it's larger than other grinders making it versatile to use for more than just coffee beans.
I wrote an email to ovente explaining the issue they have not responded yet in more than a week. Don't buy this flimsy piece of junk. The item started burning with plastic smell when I plugged in
Go to a local coffee shop and just ask them to grind your coffee. This grinds super unevenly and it's impossible to brew good coffee with a bad grind.
A little disappointing. It does not do a very good job grinding nuts. It's better on seeds. With this product, you get what you pay for. A more expensive unit would probably grind better.
Doesn't grind! Spices fly around the top and never get ground. Comes out coarse with chunks. Brought early for Christmas gift. But now can't return it. Didn't see that it had a 30 day return policy. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!
