I don't know what reminded me of this game. I used to play it all the time when it first came out. Then I stopped playing and moved on to other games. Overlord popped into my head for some reason and I was happy to see Walmart had it. The game is still fun and funny, still interesting and different than most games. It had been so long since I played, it was like starting over again. In most games, you're so used to having your main character do all the work. Here, you had to learn to have your hero ease up and get your minions get their hands dirty. If by some chance you don't know what this game is like, you basically have four classes of little gremlin-looking dudes that are hilarious. Each class is a different color with a different function, like how the blue minions can bring the other ones back to life and are immune to magic. You can control every aspect of what the minions do with your controller, or just send them in a general direction and let them cause havok as they want. It's basically an action game with RPG qualities, but the only upgrades you can make are your armor, helmet, and the weapons you choose which are always melee weapons. You can also use magic to a small extent, but don't rely on it too much. For those of you that have played this before, you'll know this isn't the original game's title. They included it's original DLC with the base game here. I haven't tried the DLC or mulitplayer stuff yet as I'm still deep in the one-player story, so I'm not sure how that part is. My only complaint was Walmart using UPS to ship it. The online tracking was never updated, so even as I held the game in my hands, it still said online the game was at the "origin facility" or whatever. Plus I paid to have it delived on April 16th and it didn't arrive finally until the 20th. So UPS really should have given me a discount on the shipping costs. But otherwise I'm extremely glad I bought this game again. Very much worth the low price.
