Overtone GOLDEN BROWN Daily Conditioner 8 fl oz

I used to used vibrant purple for brown hair and it was lovely - dark, subtle purple. And then since I'm older now, I thought maybe I should tone it down. But the universe things otherwise! This might be called Cherry Chestnut but the result is not a brown or even red brown, it's.... And I love it! The base is salt and pepper, fine hair.

Love how easy it us to just add a pop of color to my hair- no staining my hands or shower. The conditioner makes my hair so soft. I consider doing my hair my " me" time using overtone. I know I can depend on the quality for a good price to keep consistent with my beauty routine. Highly recommend.

After using the royal purple for brown hair I use this to touch up my hair after every hair wash. It leaves my hair incredibly soft and smelling fantastic.

This conditioner has made my vibrant pink hair last so much longer in between maintenance. It's been a lifesaver on my brittle ends and it keeps me feeling fresh before my touch ups

I like using the daily conditioners to add a playful amount of color to my natural hair color (dark blonde). The Cherry Chestnut had great color payoff for me! The color was closer to the purple in the shade chart which makes sense since I am more blonde and I really like the shade. Will be using again!

My hair is naturally black with about 50% gray. Due to my hair dye allergies, I've been using henna+indigo for about 15 years. The indigo color fades within a week, leaving my grays reddish orange. I've been looking for a safe and easy alternative to indigo that's fragrance-free (they give me bad headaches) and came across Overtone. I got the Indigo Iris conditioner, and after two uses, the overall hair darkened, and after the third use, the reddish orange turned gorgeous dark, mahogany red where I have more black hair, and really toned down the orange from mostly-gray areas! The color washes off my hands easily. I was afraid that the oils would break out my skin, but it did not. I wish it didn't contain protein or silicone since my already-coarse hair tends to look dry with long-term use,

Surprise! I'm a 62-year old man, and I love Overtone. My goal was to balance my hair color. It was dark on the top and completely white on the sides. Overtone to the rescue! If permanent dyes are not what you want, Overtone is the answer.

I love this purple and am using it for my grey that's growing back in. Sadly, despite my laying it on heavily and moving it through my hair thoroughly it is uneven and not nearly as dark a purple as is presented on the site. Grey isn't represented here but it is at least as light as the darker blonde.

I love overtone daily conditioners. I don't even use their color depositing conditioners because I've found that their daily conditioners still color my highlights with consistent use, and it's easier for me to use do it in the shower than apply something and let it sit. However, this color disappointed. Instead of getting the gorgeous cherry chestnut color, the red color washes down the drain and leaves behind only purple. Not sure if this happened to anyone else but I used the entire bottle and never got a cherry color. For reference, my hair is straight and medium thickness. My roots are dark brown so don't show the color but my highlights do pick up color.

Disappointing this is obviously a new formula and it's horrible. It's watery and even after rinsing well, don't touch your hair because the color will be all over your hands. Half the product at nearly the same price with a watery new formula that doesn't work! I've been using this product for 6 years and now unfortunately it's time to move on. Goodbye Overtone:-(
