These strips worked great, and it was very evident when I was ovulating. I didn't find them to be less sensitive than other brands. I kept seeing the levels go up and down throughout my cycle and around the time that my app predicted I would ovulate. But I realized that my other symptoms didn't match up so I kept testing beyond what I thought was a reasonable time to have ovulated. I was going to give up because it seemed way too late, but then I started having the tell-tale symptoms (EWCM). I kept testing and finally got a positive result on day 31....which is crazy, but there's clearly nothing wrong with the strips! Our cycles can just be a lot more unpredictable than expected. Most likely if you're using this product it's because your cycle is not very regular, so my advice is keep testing even if you feel like you've missed the surge.
I most women are misinformed about hormonal birth control. We should be advocating for women to be using the rhythm method, rather than taking synthetic hormones every month. This isn't just for trying to get pregnant, it's also used for preventing pregnancy.
This is my first time buying an ovulation kit and I was confused at how this type of kit works. To summarize for any first timers like me out there... you use the strips to tract the LH in your urine (LH is the hormone that is released just before ovulation) If your not sure of how long your cycles typically are it suggests starting to use the strips at day 10 (day 1 is the first day of your period) If you know how many days your cycle typically is (your "cycle" is the start of your period to the day before your next period) there is a chart that tells you which day you can start using strips. You pee in the little cups provided in the kit, dip the strip into it. They say it's best to do it at the same time each day in the afternoon, not first thing in the morning. Then wait up to 10 minutes to see the result. The directions say do not look after 15 minutes bc the strip could change but it would be a false reading. Then whatever day your strips show positive for the LH surge, ovulation is going to happen within the next 24-48 hours and that's your cue to start trying. The directions are pretty straightforward and come with a page you can record your findings. I like that it comes with 50 test strips and also 50 urine cups. You get a lot more tests for your money with this set then you would buying it at a store. These things run crazy expensive in stores. So far for me the strips have worked as directed.
This was a great purchase for me because i've been using temperature tracking as a form of birth control. They're easy to use and come with a bunch of cups to dip the test strips in. plus you get a lot of test strips for you money.
Easy to use, super straightforward, and much more affordable than a name brand kit from the grocery store.
highly recommend if you're trying to conceive very accurate worked for us!!!
Very easy to use kit! I like that it comes with the urine cups so it makes testing really quick
Worked great for me since my cycle its all over the place and we were looking to get pregnant within the second month i was pregnat. It helped a lot like I said sometimes I wouldn't even ovulate like the firt month I tried cuz I test every day after my period until I got my other period and than started testing again and than sawn my positive one and IM PREGNANTTT! We're so happy since we've been trying for 3 years and a miscartiage during. So happy that now a baby it's on the way!!
I got pregnant the first time after using it!! I'm really happy I chose this one instead of a high tech one like the Clearblue ovulation digital test. At first I was a little inpatient because I wasn't getting the solid red line, but it turned out I just ovulate really late. I ended up having a positive test 23 days after my period. I think this is a really good product if you are trying to conceive, and it definitely takes the guesswork out of it!
So far I have been using these for a few weeks. I ordered them based on the good reviews and I'm glad I did. I also use aps to track my fertility as well (glow has a feature that will analyze the strip-yay) which can get a little confusing since they all say different ranges so if you're TTC these strips are definitely helpful. The strips are individually wrapped and come with easy to follow instructions. Good value for price in my opinion. Just a reminder that this journey can get overwhelming and it's important to be patient. Good luck to everyone out there TTC.
