The phone cup holder is very easy to install. My Samsung Galaxy is not in a bulky case, so it fits perfectly in the holder, and it's easy to release it with the button on the back. The base is adjustable and fits nicely in my cup holder. I took my first little road trip, and I was able to glance at my phone easily for directions. My phone was secure, even on bumpy roads . This was just what I needed!!!
I have two cars and I get tired of the phone holders I have. ImtThey keep leaving scratches and I have to keep adjusting them when I'm removing my phone. Also people looks inside your car whenever you're at a stop. Always looking on your phone if your screen is on. With this one, it's down lower and whenever I'm at a stop I can simply tilt it down then back up when I'm moving. Keep people from seeing what's on my screen. Plus you can tighten it into your cup holder and it's steady. I love these holders. Got one for each car. I'm going to buy another just in case one get damaged one day 😁
It's simple to install and holds the phone firmly. The only issue I had was the sun reflecting off my shirt and hitting the screen which made it impossible to see if I was driving into the sun. I'm sure if I played around with the angle of the phone, I could fix this.
Sturdier than I thought it would be for the price. Easily adjustable. Barely fits my center console cup holder. The collar that extends the prongs to grip the inside of the cup holder starts clicking and skips, because the prongs are fully extended. The collar than skips over the top of the threads that push out the prongs. I get just enough pressure of the prongs against the inside the cup holder to keep it from moving. The side tangs are definitely not designed for phones with armor cases. They need to be longer. A fat phone could bounce out of this holder, because the side tangs on the base are not as deep as the phone case is thick. Might peel off the rubber strips inside that help grip the phone, glue on some rigid plastic extensions, and glue the foam strips onto those to fabricate longer tangs. Considering how expensive are smartphones, I don't want mine bouncing out and hitting the console and floor on hitting a pot hole or hard bump.
S24 ultra w/ case similar to otter box will not fit in this well. if it was just the phone and no protection case then yes but I am a welder/steel worker so my phone needs protection. otherwise good product for the $$
With the Note20, the holder is difficult to adjust and it takes both hands and a bit of wrangling to remove it as the sides don't extend wide enough with just the toych of the release button. I'm also not a fan of having to use a cupholder spot for it nor having to look down instead of my phone being at eye level like it is with a holder used in the CD player slot ~ I don't use CD's so that space is much more convenient to use.
the most important part, the piece that holds the phone, keeps falling off which also means the phone is dropping and falling down in between the seat of the car making it very difficult to reach. I'm so sorry I purchased this and don't feel like going through the headache of returning it.
Struggle to get it to fit. Certainly not compatible with cup holder size. Tightening knob snapped off. Now what do I do? Pay double for an “iffy” product. Would have never bought if I knew the quality!!!!!!!! Merry Christmas to me !!!
Actual phone holder comes loose from the handle that mounts into the cup holder. There is nothing holding the two pieces together except for four hooks.
I actually purchased 2 because the first one broke trying to install it so I bought a 2nd one and it did the same thing cheaply made but not cheaply priced
