OXO was great about replacing

locking can opener adequate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you for the prompt replacement c with a new, better-functioning opener. It still misses a spot or two, but with a little elbow grease I can open my cans again!

Wonderful Can Opener
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a warranty replacement item. I absolutely love this can opener! It is so easy to use and is very easy on older hands. It has a magnet in the end of the handle to easily remove the can lid after opening.

Oxo lock & go can opener

I own two of these.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own two of these. One is the best can opener I've ever owned and the second one is a pretty darn good can opener. Not sure why they are different. I love the accessibility that OXO strives for!

I have recommended and give multiple lock and go can openers. I recently purchased one for two more family members to find it has been redesigned. The new design is finicky, having to be held in a particular way to engage the can lid in such a way that it is cut.

not as good as the old fashioned kind
this was a great disappointment. It worked better than a different new can opener on a standard can, and turned more easily. However, it failed to open small cans of tomato paste. The old fashioned sheet steel ones could.

Doesn't work
I get the item situated against the rim and it seems to bet set right. It will puncture the lid, and open about a cm then just roll off and away, leaving the rest of the lid untouched. It takes about 20 attempts of this kind to get a single can open. Very disappointing, expect more from this brand.
