OXO Good Grips 2 Cup Glass Measuring Cup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm waiting to see if the red writing wears off in 3 months the way the last set did which was very disappointing. I had previously bought Pyrex brand and the writing wore off in a year so I though OXO would be better. It was so much worse. I will leave a review after 3 months - I'm hoping the first set was just poor quality control.

Sturdy and reliable. Love the silicone sleeve on the handle. Pyrex quality.

Love it. Bought to complement my 2 cup angled/smart measuring cup. Wanted something a little more rugged and microwave safe. Boy did I get what I wanted!

The quality is OXO through and through. Beautiful heavy glass with clear and easily read markings. The issue is the handle. This is a 5star product if they'd fix the HORRIBLE TOO SHORT handle. The too short handle makes it impossible to get a good and steady grip on the heavy glass, even worse when it's full. Not sure who signed off on the final final copy to produce this one. (I'm a petite woman with small hands!) Sorry OXO, the handle failed you on this product!

After 5 washings in my dishwasher I can barely read the liquid charts on the glass!! I believe a few more washings and the writing will be completely gone forever!!!!! Not what I expected from a supposedly top level product!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED !!!

After a few months all the markings are fadng away

I splurged on this measuring cup as a replacement for old and stained pyrex. The silicone handle is genius and offers a secure, cool grip when dealing with hot liquids. However, the pour spout makes a big mess. At first I thought I just needed to get used to the new cup and it was operator error. But after having this for several months and using it probably 50 times it still goes everywhere when I attempt to pour a stream neatly. Do I have a defective spout? Am I hopeless inept? I never had this problem with my previous pyrex or anchor hocking measuring cups. Thank you for any insight. If a new cup would do the trick - I no longer have my receipt. Is that a problem?

Purchased in December 2024 and by April 2025 the printing has completely come off like it wasn't even there. Use it but don't wash it with anything more agressive than water and don't rub it with anything harsher than a feather.
