I LOVE this product. This is a High Quality, Perfect Size GLASS salad spinner so it will last you a very long time. If you eat salads daily or even just often, it will save you time AND give you wonderful results. Also by being made of glass, you are avoiding the "microplastic" contamination that you might get with the cheap, plastic salad spinners. It's great for fruits, vegetables and salads. I highly recommend this product.
Glass bowl that we now use for everything. Only negative would be the little plastic piece you need to spin, would prefer it was built until the bowl.
This device is highly effective for draining water from lettuce.
Beautiful item, works wonderfully, it was pricey, but wanting to remove plastics as much as possible from home, especially kitchen use, made it well worth it.
I had this for a few years and sadly had to replace it after breaking the bowl. It's heavy but slid into the sink, which happened before without breaking so it is pretty heavy duty. It does what it needs to well and I like that it's a little less plastic around my produce.
SPINNER BOWL, SALAD BOWL, FRUIT BOWL, SERVING BOWL AND MIXING BOWL. FIVE FOR THE PRICE OF ONE AND IT'S BOROSILICATE GLASS. HEAVY DUTY DOES NOT MOVE WHEN SPINNING. SIX STARS SCORE!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old spinner mechanism broke internally and OXO shipped us an updated replacement.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's well-made and it works beautifully. Highly recommend.
I got this because my small plastic one from Amazon was breaking at the handle from the weight of the veggies I was spinning. This one feels sturdier, and I chose glass to avoid plastic. However, the part where the food sits is still plastic, so keep that in mind. My biggest gripe is the size—it's massive. That might be great if I wanted to use it as a serving bowl, but for everyday use, it's just not practical. Also, if your veggies are sliced too thin, they can slip through the venting slits. This is frustrating for me since I use premixed veggies, and the carrots tend to fall through. Aside from the plastic, the quality is solid, and it seems to hold up well.
love this works well but it is heavy. h the weight keeps it from moving but my wife has some trouble pouring out the liquid due to the weight, its a plus and a minus.
