OXO SoftWorks 2 Cup Fat Separator

Love this product. Great fat strainer. I love to make completely home made soups by pressure cooking my bones. Works great to separate the fat from the bone broth. I would love to see OXO come out with a glass option as well as including a cleaning brush for the neck. However, very happy with my product. Still going strong after 3 years of moderate use. Has not warped in the dishwasher either.

My husband uses one of these a lot when he cooks with meat! We have tried to separate fat without this tool and this O XO fat separator is so helpful and so handy! I highly recommend getting one, especially if you ever see one on sale!

I love using this during holiday meals. It makes it so easy to use the broth from the turkey to make a gravy. It takes any pieces out of the broth as you pour it in. Then after a few minutes you can easily put the good broth into your pan and leave the fat out. Love this tool.

It's large enough where you can add a lot of liquid but not so big that you can find a place to store it. It worked exactly like I expected it to and once I poured the liquid in the cup, sure enough... the fat rose to the top, and I was able to use just the meat drippings for my gravy. It has a strainer on top so when you pour your liquid in the cup it keeps out any unwanted spices or fat pieces or anything else that you don't want in your liquid. Perfect for making the perfect gravy!

It's so easy to use, and it really worked by separating the fat. The stopper keeps the fat out of the spout so when you pour it, no fat! I've used this product so many times, and I'm so very happy with the way it works. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This arrived just before Thanksgiving and I was excited. My gravy was always good but had that touch of greasiness to it. It was amazing not to pull out separate tools. Just poured into the cup, sieve prevented lumps going through for a smooth gravy. This separated the grease and everyone raved at how great the gravy tasted. The only con was that the spout should be shaped differently and wit would be nice to have a lid replace the sieve to store in fridge

The product works as advertised. I like that I am able to filter out the ingredients I don't want from the broth that I do. Cleaning is so easy. I love that it's dishwasher safe and microwave safe
