Good for meal prep of baby food.
good quality, very appropriate for baby food preparation
Great portion size
Great for making baby food.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since we do not have any babies in the family (yet) I've been using this to freeze other items. It's great to freeze individual portions of herbs from my garden to extend the gardening season. When I'm cooking all I have to do is pop out one frozen cube and add to the dish. These frozen herbs are now sold in the grocery store but I can make them myself for a fraction of the cost. Also love to freeze fruits to add to the blender for smoothies. It's got hundreds of uses besides baby food.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great. Doesn't take up too much space. I like that it's BPA free and dishwasher safe. It's works great for baby food. I also like to make freeze treats for my daughter, niece and nephew. In I like to make ice as well. OXO makes the best products.
I love these but they aren't flexible to bend/pop out the ice cubes. Perfect portion size for infants. Love the cover to keep baby's food clean. I use warm water on the bottom to loosen cubes and then push them out from the top (like a see-saw).
Bought for freezing baby purées. Was convinced that the lid would be helpful but honestly it's not super secure. The silicone bottoms do help get cubes out better than a typical ice tray but they work better in theory than reality. I wouldn't purchase again
Disappointed. I was hoping since it said it was specifically for baby food that the lid would have a seal to prevent freezer burn. It doesn't, the lid loosely fits on top with visibly air gaps. This is just a normal ice cube tray albeit "BPA free". They put "baby food" in the title to lure in gullible mom's like myself. I would have rated it 4 stars if it said it was just for ice. The $1.5 mainstay trays seem to have a tighter fitting lid. Plus on those, you can put a piece of saran wrap in between the tray and the lid for a better seal. It's hard to do with the weird lid design of the oxo tray.
Just buy a regular ice cube tray
