Love it for my 3-year-old
I love using this for my 3-year-old. I was deciding on whether or not to buy this or one with a suction, but since my son has turned 2, the suction parts on his plates are pretty much useless, so I'd say this is just as good without the additional effort of cleaning the suction cups too since I hand wash all silicone tableware. Silicone often absorbs the flavor of dishwasher detergent, so I no longer use the dishwasher to wash them.

Great for toddlers, microwaving, camping, klutzes
So I received the item today and it's the size I was expecting and heavier than I thought. To keep my microwave clean I bought a think stretchable silicone set lids on WalMart.com to cover these Oxo Tot silicone dishes. It does not get nearly as hot as glass in the microwave and the silicone is very easy to wash. What I don't like is the hard plastic bottom will eventually scuff which for a single bowl at this cost is a bit much really. It's still buy it but I'd never buy more than a couple of each of these because of that problem. It's a design problem.
