Perfect for boats

This LED utility light is exactly what I wanted for my RV and my boat. I like that it can be powered by a 12V battery which I use on my boat and also RV. It is not large, not heavy, just about four inches long, but it is rather bright with the lights coming through the clear lens. Its bright light can be seen from hundreds of yards in a clear night. In foggy weather conditions it is seen from about 15-20 yards which gives additional safety while navigating under such circumstances. This utility strip light is water resistant which is wonderful on my boat and RV in any weather. I also like that the utility light comes with stainless steel mounting screws that allowed me to attach the utility light to the needed place right from the box. It took me about two minutes to affix this LED strip light to the back side of my RV with a Phillips screwdriver. It's easy to install with color coded wires indicating plus and minus charges for the battery. LED bulbs have high light efficiency and low power consumption, and therefore I can be sure that this light will deplete my battery even during the long nights.

It’s extremely durable and looks great. Our favorite feature is that it has a IPX6 water resistance degree so it can even handle high pressure water sprays. It’s very durable. Our kids have thrown a basketball on it by accident, we’ve bumped into it, etc and it hasn’t budged/ had any issues. Another plus is that the mounting hardware is stainless steel. It’s a good size coming in at 4 inches. It’s 12v and gives off the perfect amount of light. We have a few Ozark Trail products and they have all lasted for years. It’s a dependable brand. Highly recommend: durable, looks great, easy to install, and has a IPX6 water resistance degree.

We finally received this little light, and the light comes with all the hardware you will need. It didn't take my son long to install, however, you do need to have some knowledge of wiring. The one thing I was disappointed in, it did not come with any instructions. I could not have installed it. The light works great, but my son intends on installing a toggle switch so we can turn it on and off when we need. We installed this on a utility trailer which we felt we could use the extra light. We are going to get another one for the opposite side. I do recommend this product, but I wish it had instructions.

Hard to put together but somehow I managed. I put it outside my door for a small security light. It was alright but I don’t recommend it for that purpose. I think it was meant to be on the outside of a boat, not sure though. If I had a husband I’m sure he would have known what to do with it.

We used this on a camping trip to the Buffalo River and found it very handy and easy to use. I’m getting two more to add as stocking stuffers for my grown sons - it’s never too early to think about that, and I like to get them things they actually use
