We had one that lasted several years. It is leaking now (dented from being in school backpacks). It kept the food hot and had a wide mouth which made it both easy to clean and easy to eat from. Mostly stainless steel, top shelf dishwasher safe. Better than all the higher end brand name ones (and I've tried them all).
I actually bought this for my kid's lunch to keep soup and other food warm, but will also plan to use this for camping. The quality of this is great and it is also a decent size. I have used it once so far, but it can hold an entire pouch of ramen noodles and it stayed warm for hours (I didnt use boiling water, but it was pretty hot). After fours hours, my child was able to eat it and told me it was still hot for lunch. So it served it's main purpose and can't wait to use it for camping trips/hikes.
This thermos isn't cute. Like the last thermos I had, had Hello Kitty all over it. This one's boring and plain BUT it does keep my hot foods hot! I make oatmeal for my mom and I put it in this bad boy and hours later it's still hot. It hold 22 ounces which is a lot. It's a decent size. The outside didn't get hot. Unless you screw the lid in super tight it's easy to open. This thermos looks like it'll last a long time since it's all metal. If you put soup in it, you can actually pour some out into the lid and use the lid as a bowl. It's super cool. It also floats. Cleaning is easy, fits nicely in a bag for travel and is safer than jars which are unsafe if they fall and shatter. I think I'll fire up my Cricut and make some decals to zhuzh it up a bit, because I'm extra like that!!!
i was skepitable at first. There was no heating the thermos, just add hot food. I filled it at 7:30 am and the food was still hot at 1 pm. Highly recommend.
Excellent thermos for keeping lunch hot on the go. Temperature holds all day. Lid seconds as a soup cup but the plastic part of the lid has disconnected from the metal part of ours. Not a deal breaker for us. Excellent seal, fun to decorate with stickers. Highly recommend.
This is very convenient but it doesn't keep contents hot for the advertised 12hrs….not satisfied with the amt of time contents stays “hot”…only an estimated 4 hrs..
This thermos keeps things very hot, unfortunately there is a MAJOR design flaw! The screw lid has a pressure release button, which when you try to wash it, holds water and soap (no way to properly drain it). When you release the pressure that soapy water leaks out into whatever is in the thermos. Was quite disappointed with this issue.
This item did not keep food hot for any period of time. It kept it warm for about an hour after that the food was lukewarm more room temperature. I expected it to keep it hotter as the food that was put in the container was made extremely hot before it was placed in there would not recommend.
After the first use, I washed it, and I noticed that before I went to use it again, there was water trapped in the black lid where the red push part is. There's no way for me to remove this part of the lid, so the water is just trapped in there and I am extremely worried/disgusted at the thought of the water stain, trapped in there and eventually growing mold, or just smelling bad.
Horrific design! If I had known that this lid was going to come with a little circle in the middle of the seal that was going to let water into the lid that could never get out i would have NEVER bought it. Moronic design! I would return it but I don't want to waste my time. So I'll use it as an inside the house never travel with it container to make tea or carry ice (and even then, without the inside seal piece in you have to be careful of the condensation spilling when removing the top lid. Lord! why didn't you just make a seal that was one piece!? Terrible!!!!!!!!!
