This was a great buy I used it to hold a lot of stuff for camp I tested it before and it held 2 big blankets and 1 small blanket and a towel did it's job and I would recommend I wish it had a bigger water bottle holder but it held my tall and skinny one just fine

This backpack was surprisingly large but seems strong. I want to hold a heavy camera and other day packing items so the size is perfect. I like that it's nylon and water resistant on the surface because I feel I can place it on any moist or dirty surface and just wipe away the mess. And it's packable in its own zippered pouch. This is so convenient to just throw into my suitcase when I travel.

I purchased two of these. Used one for a weekend getaway. I loaded it to the top. Was pretty heavy when full and the shoulder straps and the top loop handle withstood with no problem. It has a convenient top pocket and two side pockets. I used the side pockets for a battery pack and usb wall plug and wires. I was able to fit a toiletry kit in the top pocket. I would highly recommend the Gainesville backpack to anyone who wants a lightweight, yet roomy, weekend pack.

I loved the color and the light weight of this backpack. The many compartments were convenient for water bottles/umbrella, and etc. The main compartment provided plenty of storage and the drawstring makes everything secure. I would definitely recommend buying this bag.

Color is a nicer dark blue than I expected based on the listing's stock photos-- the stock photos made me think this bag would look like a slightly vintage/faded navy blue, but it came out as an actually dark blue.

great backpack to throw things in. very spacious and can hold lots of things. only downside is lack of pockets, but if you need something with a large capacity to throw clothes in for the weekend, this is perfect.

As the saying goes you get what you pay for, but that's exactly what I wanted in this case. The bag is nothing fancy and I just wanted something I could carry beach/lake stuff into to carry easily without worrying about wrecking a nice backpack with water/sand. 2 stretch side pockets are perfect for sunscreen or water bottles. I'm able to carry a couple of towels, water shoes, extra shorts/shirt. There is a zipper top pocket which is good for keeping important things secured like a wallet or keys rather than in the main compartment where they could get lost with people pulling stuff out. The back folds back in on itself with a zipper pocket so compact and great for packing in luggage to have a simple backpack to carry on your travel adventures. Straps and zippers are not the highest of quality, but are good enough to do the job and after several months of use, haven't had a problem with either. Unfortunately, I don't like where it is made (china), companies need find more US trade friendly manufacturing countries...I know for many this is important which is why I mentioned it and I don't see it listing in the product description unless I missed it.

Decent extra bag for the car, its a soft sack really, no padded straps so its an emergency sack only. Doesn't have a harder wearing bottom so its not for hard use. Folds into a pouch but doesn't zip or hold closed so its more like a covered pouch.

The bag is worth its price. the nylon string that holds the brain to the body broke before i even used it. have 11lb packed in it included a sleeping bag, puffy blanket, 2 pair of socks, 3 dehydrated meals, and 2x 16oz hard plastic water botttles in the holders. will see how straps hold up over a weekend.
