Ozark Trail 3/8 in 4 ft Radius Pro Series Cast Net

We use this fastener to catch minnows in the shallow areas of the river. The minnows are only around parts of the year so I couldn't capture it in action but these cast nets are perfect. Some of the tiny minnows can get stuck in the holes so depending on the size of the bait you might need different size holes. This is a good budget cast net that easily pays for itself in the cost of buying bait. Live bait is great for catching more fish! Including a little video to show how to throw if you're new to these. Even if you're not fishing, my kids get super interested in catching the minnows and playing with them for hours in a bucket.

this is well made and fairly easy to throw from standing position. small for cast nets but works. only tried once so far. practice is the key to success. pick it up before buying. that is the weight you'll throw.

It works great took me a little bit to figure out how to throw it right all I can say is read the directions they are there for a reason haha once I figured it out got a lot of bait with just one throw would recommend it two anyone and it's fun to throw

Me and my husband love to fish ! So this casting net is great for us to use ! We catch our bait with it !! It's a 6 ft net very easy to learn only took us a couple of minutes just a bit of practice and got the hang of it and caught a whole bunch of bait !! You can also catch shrimp with it which we're hoping to do one day ! It's very sturdy!! Made well for sure !!

Ozark trail 6ft cast net is a great size for getting bait and very user friendly and easy to throw. The cast net material is durable and well made. I like the fact the lead has a cover over it and not exposed. The overall construction seems to be sturdy and hopeful it will last a long time. Would recommend for a beginner or older person not wanting throw a wider more cumbersome net.

The Ozark Trail Pro Series Cast Net features a 6-foot radius, 3/8-inch monofilament mesh, and a 25-foot handline. Its clear carrying case keeps the net together for storage and transportation. The handle and front latch make the case a practical part of the setup.

I read the reviews before purchasing, and I'm glad I did. for the price- amazing. the only other options available at all similar in size and material were much more expensive, approx $45 instead of approx $80. I haven't tried one of the expensive 80 dollars options, so I can't give a complete comparison of whether they're worth the extra money, just that this ozark trail cast net is more than worth the price

My son loved using this in our neighborhood pond to catch and release fish. He was able to figure out how to use it with easy. It easily Goes back into the box it came in for convenient and easy storage. The product is very durable and was little maintenance- once he was done, debris from pond easily came lose and it was ready for storage.

Good cast net for the money. It's got enough weight to open up nice and sink fast, and the 6-foot size is easy to throw without wearing out my shoulders. I've had good luck catching shad and other bait with it. The carrying case is handy too and keeps the net from getting tangled up in the boat or back of the truck. Nothing fancy just a solid net that gets the job done.

Of course, it's not the best cast net, but it is a good cast net for the price. i've had it for over a year, and it's lasting great
